So, what are the odds this was originally the ‘anniversary’ bundle and Fatshark is just making it PC exclusive as a clumsy deflection? The end of November date says a lot.

there’s also cross save between the microsoft store version on PC and XBOX so if anyone here with a crappy PC and an xbox got gamepass get your free reward, since it’s not PC exclusive if you own one + a console

I never thought we were going to get Aquillas. Given that the game is “free” on gamepass for Xbox players, them getting the 14,000 aquillas or whatever is the benefit they get for buying the game when they otherwise could keep on playing it for free. Also, who knows what sorts of deals and shenanigans were struck between Fatshark, Microsoft, and Games Workshop to lead to this. It is what it is. I hoped we’d get some free aquillas, but that seemed an unlikely outcome.
This cosmetic pack is decent compensation, and that it gives a nod to those of us who stuck out the first year with something unique (and much better than the beta helmet) is fine.

Man i would have been so satisfied if we were just able to choose 2 skins of our own liking, but no we get a timed promotion that was 100% already planned even before the drama.

It doesn’t give a nod to those of us who stayed for a year, anybody buying the game on PC before November 17th will get those cosmetics. This isn’t a compensation, this is what the anniversary bundle was supposed to be but got turned into a “compensation” that is just a timed promotion and has nothing to do with veteran players that were there one year ago

Here I thought for once maybe the post will have a positive vibe: a free, nice thing that’s given for 0 reason whatsoever. NOPE. 
This is completely not the case!
We have other plans around our anniversary which will be announced soon - this bundle was created since our last update around this issue.

So from what I understand people who bought the game with Aquila deal on Microsoft Store on PC (during 4-18 October 2023) also get the Vanguard Bundle.
Is that the case?
