Or Warframe.
Oddly, both Fat Shark and Digital Extremes (Warframe’s developer) are subsidiaries of Tencent, so it must be Fat Shark more than Tencent that’s at fault here…

As said every other Tencent owned game has better quality cosmetics and store
The lack of quaility, over pricing and full priced reskins are entirely on fatshark being awful.
Fatshark: “No”
while i understand where youre coming from, you cant honestly look at the krieger set for vet and the upcoming scion armor and think “yeah, this is what we consider premium cosmetics”. they simply cant be what fatshark considers as quality looks. kriegers set for vet is a prime example, ugly shoulder armor, botched helm, oversized sleeves, unsatisfying tailcoat and that front chest box is just REALLY bad now as your answer to fixing the clipping was to completely butcher it by flattening it with a pancake.
we’re all sick of the low quality of what is supposed to be premium cosmetics and receiving 0 communication as more subpar cosmetics are being pumped out just lets us know the commodore store isnt worth the effort.
i literally want to give you guys money for cosmetics (in no other game have i wanted MORE mxt’s lol) but yall are making it very difficult to actually want to.
I mean we have as a starting point that fact cosmetics don’t fit females properly. If they don’t care about fundament, why should they care about facade being painted poorely. Cosmetics there just for milking whales and wh40k nerds who can’t resist urge to roleplay krieg.
I dont think Games Workshop would allow that. Iv never seen a single GW game ever in my long and terrible memory that allows consumers to create their own official cosmetics or content, which on the one hand is wild considering where GW came from and then again, is entirely expected considering where they stand now. maybe Im wrong and I would welcome corrections.
The most you will get is the ability to create factions with their own backstory and colours but these must be within certain parameters. This isnt the kind of game for that ofc.
Atlernatively, we can always rely on modders to add the stuff that FS cannot.
Closest I recall is the Army Painter from Dawn of War.
There are a few games that allow you to create your own faction. This only consists of name and colour tho.
You can, afaik, use your own faction in competitions (I think they must also be part of an official main faction, like a Blood Angels split off faction, sorry if Im not clear here) but they have to be within a very strict set of rules and you cannot just make stuff up but idk, Iv never played TT apart from with friends where anything goes i.e. you can use whatever models to represent whatever you want and use whatever stats are agreed upon, your imagination is the limit.
In an official capacity, you must have whatever gun is on your model etc.
Once I was watching a game in the GW store. A bloodthirster flew aross the field. The guy had the wings kinda bluetacked on. The wings fell off. The GM said the BThirster died. It was very funny.
If an Orc model on the back of a truck falls off during moving them, he takes damage.
Even funnier Rogue Trader; a game Fatshark is apparently aware of, since they released the “rogue trader” premium cosmetics to profit on its release, has a more faithful adaptation of the scion armor.
Although if someone could post a picture of the armor model in game on a character, it would be appreciated.
rogue trader is the first edition from 1987, and is a role one can inhabit in the 40k universe essentially a Explorator/admiral/governor of uncharted/reclaimed territory
the recent game that came out has you play as one such individual nothing more
What do you mean precisely by that?
This is what i have so far… gloves does not change cuz it’s a different equipment slot despite the equipment pic include it…
i don’t know why you haven;'t noticed, but the reason is that the model would clip like hell. most of the time the issues’s that the animations bend at the waist too much and with the design of that thing you can’t bend at the waist. they’re not giving that armor a whole set of animations to itself so the waist bit gets changed.
didnt stop zealots from getting full upper and lower body armor for that one cosmetic set, it can be done fatshark is too lazy to do it themselves or care how much quality that company they hired to make premium cosmetics puts into them.
the majority of clipping actually comes from using cosmetics that arent originally from the same pack. if they crafted sets that were non interchangeable that would largely solve clipping. the outliers in clipping i see usually come from people showing off their characters holding their weapon in a standby position where its against their chest and lying directly over the skin which causes clipping, thankfully this isnt a problem because in game youre not holding it that way but straight out.
we gotta stop giving devs excuses for giving us the bare minimum.
That’s a complete load as zealot gets full armoured Brestplates despite sharing the same body and animations as veteran
I know you pride yourself on being wrong and having awful takes. But come on.
Oh nice, thank you.
Looks pretty accurate for both variations,
I assume the skirt is also a separate equipment slot?
Yeah, can’t say I enjoy being called “Reject” all the time and being treated like crap.
Leg Pieces Sold Separately
its part of the caracter default outfit… No pants slot only boots so the games just cuting half his long coat LUL
lol, I see that’s one way to do it. I thought it was like morrowind style at first glance
