Hey ladies and gents, I know a LOT of you were requesting that there be a neck covering on the scions helmet, I want to see it happen too - I don’t understand why there isn’t one considering the gap between the head model and the helmet but I’ve got a fix for you those of you interested.
Download the latest version of the “for the drip” mod - you’ll need to get it from the modding discord.
open up the “slot head gear” drop down menu that is in the slot customization section. Uncheck attachment_1 and attachment_2 so that you can see what you’re doing.
click on the “extra attachment” drop down menu and select “necromunda_01_a_mask” then add that attachment, then hit the apply button.
On one hand, darktide is the biggest love letter to the 40k universe I’ve ever seen. The passion that was put into the gameplay, architecture, and the aesthetics blow me away, but then the refusal to let us customize our cosmetics or our weapons go so hard against the ethos of 40k, it’s just contrary…
Well 40k is literally built on building, customising and painting your own army
Beyond picking what cosmetics to get you can’t customise or colour them in any way, which is such a stupid missed opportunity for selling stuff. Selling skins that could be applied to all armours would way more profitable than selling full priced reskins for armours usually 12 months after the original came out which is such an utterly insane idea only fatshark could conceive
