Nah, your argument is always whatever is opposed to the majority. You’re a contrarian.
And wow, nope, was never a bully! I was a good kid
Damn straight.

I do agree that it’s highly unorthodox to put everyone on leave at the same time. Usually these sorts of things are balanced out evenly among workers with other companies.
I mean, it can be state mandated to give off holidays at certain times. It is possible that FS is mandated to let their workers rest for weeks. And it is a good thing. Also, if it is state mandated, they are likely to have even more days that they can chose when to take out and rest a bit.
But if it is not mandated, it is really bad policy to force the workers to take their holidays all at once and at the time the company deems necessary. In this case I don’t think that the workers have more days to rest so they don’t have any choice in the matter.
Can any swedish person or anyone familiar there tell us how it really works there?
No matter what, the people deserve holidays.
My enjoyment or frustration does not and should not come between that.
Its a game.
Given what @Koranthus02 has contributed I’m no longer frustrated, merely completely baffled at the choices made by management.
People deserve time off. People deserve to unwind. They shouldn’t be held to the ridiculous workaholic standards corporations have enforced particularly within the US.
That being said: it’s not unreasonable to expect the team to strive to improve the game while they are working. We’re not asking them to crunch. We’re not asking them to give up their personal time.
We’re asking them to take our feedback and actually do something worthwhile with it because we all know this game could be so much more than the current state.
Bottom line is: they all know when their holiday times are coming up, their lackluster time management leaves much to be desired.
Anyone’s beat em in T5 soloq yet? Been getting assblasted over the hour, lol. Fun fight, wish the mission leading up to them was a bit more elaborate.
Such a trash idea to lock hard mode behind a puzzle in the game where you can’t have a lobby even, ffs.
So, I just finished the map for the first time on Damnation difficulty. Not in hard mode, only in standard Damnation.
I would say it was an “okay” experience, but I do not see myself doing this assignment again. We have been fighting these two bosses with the same mechanics, except the ground is lava, for about a week.
I am hoping that the next update includes more replayable content, because this assignment, which is just a reskin of a map we have all played hundreds of times since the game’s release, with some updated assets and a boss fight at the end that spawns minions for some reason (lazy), does not have a shelf-life for me.
Ye they are beatable in T5 solo que. But you probably should focus on keeping your team mates alive. Because the groups are see are pure chaos. Basically just DPS and no sustain.
Started off doing that, going in with my officer builds. Peeps were too fat so I ended up clearing it with one of my hybrid WS builds instead. I kept going unga-bunga on the ranged one, and was glued to his ass the entire run. That did it for me, now considering going for the hard mode.
I think if we see more special assignments and stuff in the future, I’d like that. Its definitely refreshing to see a new mode like this. I kinda like how its got a narative and everything too! Especially enjoyed the Rannick aspect of the mission and his promise of “Our work has been noticed”, and how it might impact the overall campaign.
Pretty cool stuff overall! I hope we can see the narative progress more over time.
Not too bothered about the initial buggy release either (though it looked a tiny bit silly), and good on them for fixing it fast too!
I gots no compaints other than maybe, shame there isn’t more of a reason to replay the special assignment?
Map is fun. I would say I have two issues with it though. Maybe three.
Firstly, I don’t like how quiet the map is to start off with. As others have said, initially it feels like low intensity. Don’t get me wrong I like the map later on, but initially its quite boring.
Secondly, I think its a bit too easy to get stuck by mobs when you need to rotate between fans. I got blocked for a few seconds when I had to rotate, and the poison took half my health.
Three, the rewards are… Not great? Plasteel is good. Insignia is okayish. Really would’ve liked to get something a bit more prestigious, since we essentially killed two enemy lieutenants.
How long is it live for?
this
There’s hard mode, but that’s really it.
The new boss fight is really cool imo! Pretty tough too, especially considering I just did it on “normal” damnation… haven’t activated hard mode yet but I suspect the boss fight will take at least a few tries to nail down there.
*If your country has shite labour laws. Try not to be too jealous because other countries value human beings over profits
For me, the bare minimum if they have a live product is a rotating ops/on-call team over the holidays in case something hits the fan, falls over or sets on fire. If they don’t have at least that then they are being grossly irresponsible towards their ostensibly live product.
I don’t really expect anything to be done over the holidays… because the work should already be done for any holiday events or anything that would happen over the holidays. If not, then that’s some more time management and structural issues and consequences they will have to deal with
Yeah any ideas what thats all about? I queue with randoms so I’m wary of starting something bonkers if its anything like the Vermintide 2 stuff?
