Regarding the missing tube from the gasmask going to the rebreather, just do the same as on the steel legion one and put it on the back of the helmet:
(Some krieg have it the same way/similar on some models)
2400 Aquilas is still overpriced and I laugh because Fatshark either learned nothing or is too cheap to pay for someone to fix the thing before release.
On the topic, no way they will change mtx, providing it with “there are customers who may not welcome chnages to their mtx”. The best thing you can expect they will drop high quality free cosmetics, but can you believe in such generosity realy?
vermintide 2 does actually gift premium skins from the store to players at Xmas for free, plenty skins given for 2 xmas events.
skins that costs real money given for free to players. actually soon they will do it again cause december.
i just hope for something in darktide in the future where they will be generous and gift premium skins to players as well.
2400 Aquillas… lol. Get wrecked, FatShart. I have stupidly given enough of my meager yet hard-earned muns to support your game when I’ve felt progress deserving of a reward, but until these absolutely asinine prices drop significantly and there’s a massive upturn in quality, I will not give you further funds and instead discourage others from purchasing Aquillas…
i generally don’t agree with the digital currency itself aquilas for a coop 4 player game
and skins don’t even get sales in DT it seems, meanwhile in VT2 they do
so it’s weird
they should get rid off of the digital currency and just made it the same as vt2 shop with all skins available to buy without any weird conversion from real money to digital currency which leaves some left over on purpose probably to trick people
I think people would get less salty about Aquilas if they started viewing it as the post support avenue of the game. Like especially when they make suggestions with absolutely no value to the system like ‘just let me acquire them without paying and I might buy some later’. Its literally there to fund the studio, and if you don’t want to engage with it for reason X don’t and stop demanding changes to something they literally take negative feedback on. They don’t care, free Aquilas are never going to happen without also having paid expansions.
And I definitely do as well, I complain quite loudly about those. I have submitted complaints about a fair number of cosmetics I didn’t even own or intend to buy and some were even fixed. It is 100% to me ‘does it look good?’ and about 95% of the time my money is safe.
Which is much less evil to me than locking entire game content behind paying, and then throwing deliberately overpowered weapons into that expansion as well to make it a walking advertisement to those not playing the expansion. Like the stupidly broken dual wield weapons they added to characters that weren’t elf…hell, basically every DLC weapon in VT2 minus elf/throwing axe.
considering other live service games do this, where players can earn the premium digital currency and then also buy on the mtx store if they want to conclude transactions, it’s a win win, which would increase the sales than aything. cause will make some players more keen to buy to support FS. even though is FS that should support players due to their neglicence on certain things.
give the option to earn some aquilas and then players can also buy the leftover in the mtx store if they want.
giving the ability to earn premium aquilas won’t stop people from buying it in the mtx store, cause there are also people that don’t want to farm/grind and just simply buy. e.g. whales will always exist, thefore the point you are making is no sense at last.
avenue costs of the game itself, is enough to make constant updates, maybe you don’t realize how much Fatshark earnt with all the sales of the game… yet we had to wait lot of years for the itemization update which was an important and well requested feature… and still not lot of QoL updates.
the problem is fatshark that as the usual, even if lot of people spend 3k on skins per day, FS will be always slow with important hotfixes and all, doesn’t matter what.
uh no, other games do differently and have other actual documented ways of manipulating. that isn’t to say there is no manipulating being done. you just feel differently about how it, ie they manipulated a different response than just ‘oo this is grinding’ or whatever else.
I said it would reduce the sales which is all these suggestions are ever making. There is no logical jump to make ‘that you would totally just sell more’ by doing this, nor does it even incentivize the person offering the useless but also infinite in volume digital good to do so.
And how that storefront operates, is a collection of mismatching and misrepresenting value at all levels from pre purchase to post-purchase. The entire jumbled mess of the confusion at the actual catalog, anxiety of it rotating and needing like 100 aquilas more which still isn’t in the store despite them saying it was an oversight to be missing along with other purchase options…this is how it do. If you don’t like it, don’t. We have the privilege of seeing the catalog with mods which I’m surprised Fat Shark allows, though obviously again in the big picture of their money a small number of rejects seeing behind that curtain is not hurting their bottom line.
This is also why suggestions like ‘just let us earn some aquilas!’ or ‘just let us buy whatever we want at all times!’ get laughed at collectively at Fat Shark I’m sure. Those would literally just reduce the money that they make, for no benefit to them but to enable more players to access cosmetics? Oh boy what a deal?
but to me all of this is better than getting garbage like ‘hey we need money’ (the Forgotten Relic pack) that was literally just ‘P2remove any remaining difficulty’ weapons. that still should be mostly removed from the game because they add nothing but an insane level of almost impossible to balance power creep (trollhammer).
i don’t mind content like that, but obviously they should have been careful with balance.
when it comes to dlc like that, it is more to have access to something new, and supporting FS that is a way that is not skins, since people just want new stuff, then obviously if something is unbalanced, it can be still fixed just like they are doing… oh well, as i said, time permitting. since they take time to even balance things due to slow they are, just like in DT, no matter the support received from skins or dlc (always slow to deliver actual hotfixes/balance issues).
for what i reckon, the DLC has been received well, but simply because it added new weapons to the game, therefore new variety in gameplay which is always good, the fact some are strong it’s another problem due to how they balanced. and i can understand the “p2w” reasons, but it’s up how the community perceive them, and what was really broken, they nerfed, even to the ground. like moon fire bow making just pointless and not unique anymore (removing the aoe effect) and recently they did something to trollhammer of bardin, even tho i guess is not enough.
i also suggested in some posts above, if you read, which is basically the majority of what people think, that they should been made the mtx store catalog just like the VT2 one, where all skins would been visible, and using the actual real money currency rather than aquilas (a conversion made to try confusing people and leaving left over on purpose to manipulate players)
many live service games do give the premium digital currency because you can grind for it while also giving the ability to buy it directly from the store, because fair when it comes to live services games. e.g. dead by daylight, rainbow six siege, hunt showdown and many others.
The fact Fatshark doesn’t do it, while it is their decision, it is just greediness, and people defending such system oriented on greediness and to exploit players, is amusing.
