You were already pushing it with 700 aquilas for stuff like green autogun + bandages. Not to mention when you tried to sell the look of Ironhelm Thunder Hammer as a “premium skin”.
Some of the more unique skins were “fine” for their price, like Ogryn’s Rumbler/Kickback, Flamethrower skins with lots of new details on the model, gold and silver shotgun/boltpistol skins from a couple months ago.
But now you’re just selling black recolors with a jpeg of a skull for 900. When people datamined those skins a few days ago, they thought it’s an update for the Commissary. Because these recolors don’t look like something you sell in the premium store. Open the original skins and compare them to the black versions. Someone got paid for creating those skins, Jesus…
I recently bought two premium sets (upgraded Steel Legion and black jacket), because I really like the game and I wanted to update my drip game, because my Vet rocked the same commissar look from Spring 2023. But stuff like that makes me just lose faith in the game.
Whoever is behind the cosmetic shop, get a reality check.
Nothing can describe my, and frankly our collective disappointment at this weeks Commodore’s drops. These skins are barely fit to be put in the commissary but Fatshark has the gall to make us pay 2900 Aquillas for it when good quality premium skins go for the same price, and weapons skin packs used to go for only 800 previously. I can tolerate the inflation and constant lazy recolors, but this seems too much to bear.
I’d hope that somebody from Fatshark might see enough of the community’s anger to take a good look at the vestures as a whole, or at the very least remedy this week’s disappointment.
This is what a good skin looks like. At least you can see some effort was put in to come up with the shapes and how to fit them on the original weapon. It barely has anything in common with how the axe originally looks…
What was this skin, again? IIRC, it was 700 aquilas… So these lazy black recolors cost more than literary one of the best if not the best weapon skin in the game. Absolute heresy!
Almost definitely the worst rotation thus far, by a lot. Unfortunate that they’ve been so emboldened that they feel this is acceptable quality and pricing.
I have absolutely no interest in recolor skins, so I wouldn’t buy them even if they were only 300 Aquilas. on the other hand, if it were a skin like this, I would buy it even for 1000 Aquilas. Fatshark, instead of rotating new skins every two weeks, why not try releasing high-quality skins like this once a month, even at a higher price, rather than simple recolors?
But after checking the store… at least this time this is bundle.
So I feel less angry… at least from what I have read at first when opening this thread.
But they’re literally just recolours…for roughly £3.80 a pop! For a recolour!
I was so excited to see a giant weapons bundle as weapon skins are pretty much the only things I’m interested in now I’ve landed on good themes for my characters.
The horror when I opened the bundle though. Disgraceful.
I’ve wanted black weapons for ages but recolours deserve to be in the commissary. Premium slots should be for actual premium content.

Okay this is getting absurd, This is Just 3 items per page, a 5 Skin Bundle, A re-used trinket, and a re-used Hat. Fatshark people aren’t that braindead that they don’t know how to buy a weapon straight out of the bundle, if anything this is more confusing than something like a Fourth page would ever do.
The fact these are just existing parts with some some skull stickers and small bones (which are re-used in a TON of assets) for 900 Aquillas (just under $5 USD) is absurd when at launch you were selling bundles of 40 WEAPONS SKINS FOR 800! (100 EACH)
Not to mention that the price increase is outright unacceptable for something so blatantly boundary-pushing (The boundary being how much they can get away with NOT doing) but when will Tog the Tankcrusher set come back, as well? The whole damn store needs a complete overhaul. At this point it’s just making people angry.
Rags? Basic hats? Simple skins for weapons? Why aren’t these in the commissary? Or have some way to unlock these older skins, instead of waiting for them to never come back.
I’ve been holding on to the last of my aquila for something good for the better part of half a year. Nothing has caught my eye in that time.
