They always said “this winter”, which technically ends late March. Even if they release this on the last day of April that will still only constitute a month delay.
Hot damn people get over yourselves. You’d think FS were a cheating spouse by how betrayed some of you seem by a minor delay.
The only thing they’ve done seriously wrong here is wait so damn long to announce the delay. That’s pretty poor of them but some of these reactions are just silly.

I haven’t posted for a looooong time but I had to come and post for this…Fat Shark, what is happening? How come there are no Daemon adversaries in the new DLC? You are releasing a Chaos Waste themed DLC without actual Daemons? Please tell me that I’m wrong and there will be at least a daemon mini-boss or Boss.
If not, I trully don’t understand this DLC. Why creating Chaos Wastes maps at all then? Was it easier? Easier than creating Dwarf Karak themed maps? Why no daemons? What’s the problem, you don’t have enough resources? I’m sure that development of Darktide hasn’t affected VT because… well… because you said so.

Definitely excited for this. Some advice though. Get more info out about what will actually be in this expansion ASAP or the wild speculation train is gonna get pretty vicious I’d say.
Everyone would benefit immensely from a clearer gauge of where to set our expectations. At this point just about everything other than new enemies is on the table so even with a release month we are still very much in the dark currently.

Nothing wild in expecting demons in Chaos Wastes, if you’re referring to that amongst other expectations. If not, then I apologize.

Fair enough that you thought that but no I wasn’t referring to that. It’s more the follow up speculation to what then will be in Chaos Wastes that I expect with get a bit wild and baseless.
Also people writing the whole thing off before even knowing what’s in it due to aforementioned lack of demons and general lack of info for such a long time

Well, I’m just gonna make a wild guess and say that FS is now stretched thin between 2 projects and probably more focused on DT than on VT.

Well, it not baseless, it’s common sense. I’m not looking for satisfaction, I just want them to show some respect by being completely honest. I think that, not only I, but all of us players, deserve that from them. Respect and Honesty is IMO the only thing we (players) are entitled to when it comes to developers and their products. Everything else is just bitching and exaggerated sense of entitlement.
If they want to do their own stuff and create or not create anything they want, it’s their complete right to do so. Hell, if they come out tomorrow and say something like: “We’re done with this, we want to make Age of Sigmar stuff now”. I wouldn’t like that, but it’s their right to do so.
After all, it’s their company, their decisions. And I might not like their decisions, but, ultimately I will either play the game they make or not play it, as simple as that, no hard feelings, no sense of entitlement other than respect and honesty.

Baseless guess? The fact that there are major bugs that have gone without a fix for 2+ years now is a clear indication that they havent invested their main focus into vt2 for a while now.And lets face it, they have probably earned the lions share of any profit vt2 can bring already while darktide, even if it flops in the end, is likely to bring in more money.
…
And hell its not like we have a stationary list of bugs that very slowly gets reduced, it grows practically day by day and sometimes the forum gets nuked with reports, some of which are indeed duplicates. But many are new.

I remember you guys had something planned alongside the lines of “get outside” but decided to postpone it due to the virus situation. Any hopes we can have it this year, or is it still too soon?

So them literally writing that they remain dedicated to Vermintide 2 despite working on Darktide isn’t what you want? What?
Bugs in this game get fixed and reintroduced all the time. Is that because they "aren’t committed to the game"or is the engine just a mess at this point?
