Don’t mind me, I just here to say thank you to @brosgw for his zealous drive to keep this thread updated.
Also thank you to all of us for breathing down Fatshark’s neck for 2/6/9 YEARS (all depends on your personal perspective) to get the the casino itemisation and crafting systems turned into a player progression system.
Lucky I take screenshots…all my build talents reset
Once this live/maintenance over with. I want to clean out clutter of weapons saved for disposal into something useful. i.e. sacrifacing weapons to increase mastery still not functional yet in crafting menu…
Yup. Double RNG. Current stat and max upgrade cap. As per usual for over a year and half I avoided Brunt armory and just worked with whatever drops from missions. Just going to continue with that.
That’s how I got 1.2 million plasteel and used on decent mission dropped weapons without Brunt and playing mass buy game. I’d rather spend more time in missions than menu screens.
Unlike perks/blessings. These extra percent here and there as stat upgrades won’t be drastically changing breakpoints.
The RNG aspect of rerolling perks and blessings has simply been removed but additional RNG stage at the Brunt side.
I’ve accepted that is the way it is and game is more fun by avoiding brunt and work with what you get from missions instead.
Yeah the RNG still has you by the balls. There’s basically no way to go “I want this weapon with a good rating right now”, regardless of your wallet. Now you either have to wait for a worthwhile one to show up in Brunt or Melks random rotations or a good Emperor’s gift.
I gotta be honest, this is really disappointing in a way I did not expect at all. There’s no control over how you boost the rating, it’s basically just a flat 10 rating improvement distributed between each stat in some manner I don’t yet understand but it’s basically 2-3% per bar from what I’ve seen so far.
It’s great that the locks are gone, it’s great that you have more control over how you alter your stuff, but for this RNG gatekeeping to STILL be an issue is pretty f*cking outrageous at this point.
I don’t know gang… It doesn’t seem like this thread has outlived it’s usefulness quite yet, unfortunately.
Ok disregard what I previously said. According to this video you can use the empower (stat boost) mechanic repeatedly, and not just once, until the weapon reaches it’s max possible stats. That basically nullifies all my complaints. Turns out it wasn’t really working before when I tested it, thus the confusion.
True, but some folks spread rumours, they have 100% mastery after migration.
Right now, I feel very vulnerable, so I’m easy prey to trolls… but I must know what the hell is going on!
Yeah, more than half of the weapons had blessings added I feel. It’s weird that so many people said they have 100% mastery on all weapons now. I feel like that is a bug if true.
