Into the book it goes.
Thorgrim was the only character I enjoyed playing in TWWH2. It fits, does it not?
Martyr skulls is what grimoires should have always been.
While something dishonorable, this is not something that can be resolved. Fatshark can cease such practices in the future, but it cannot undo what was done.
I’m sure it will be. I proactively reported sound problems in Darktide in 2022, not even joking. The fix is coming Soon™. The crafting thread…how many posts its now? The cosmetic shop complaints? Nevermind everything else. It is Groundhog Day all over again.
I mean, you never said it’s about changing their ways
This is true! I should clarify it.
Assigns self a grudgin’
Look at this Ufdaz Umgak.
-Krourk less accurate when crouching (I think this is the last of this nonsense figures its the OG forgotten weapon).
-Mind in Motion doesn’t work with force swords.
-Mk3/Mk5 brute shovels push attack is too weak (still uses the pre-13 3 targets and massive cleave damage fall off after target 1)
-Lucius Mk3 bayonet when it cleaves has the most unfinished animation of all time
-Kraks no longer able to 1 shot bulwark with either grenade tinkerer OR elite damage/ogryn damage. I already don’t use these things.
-Ammo nerf ramrodded through with no change to awful ammo consumptive bad guns, man I hope you are cooking with the completely unused headhunters/kantrael lasguns/recons/las pistols
This is a great many grudges, friend. Bring forth the bug report and feedback threads, so we may record them properly!
very disappointing tbh, thought you’re going to record everything like a proper dwarf
I guess the slayer’s oath is not every man’s business
Is a grudge truly a grudge if there is no way to settle it?
Surprised that input problems with latency still haven’t been mentioned
who settles the grudge? The elf or the dwarf?
- Patches reintroducing old bugs that used to be fixed, indicating a clear lack of version control (e.g. non-grenade users still having their icon change, claiming silent specialists were fixed when they weren’t).
- One-dimensional supporting characters, Morrow is the most interesting guy by a long shot
- Modders having fixed a fvcking lot of issues with the game and the developers failing to put these fixes in the game proper - I load five dozen mods every time I launch the game, complete with HUD improvements, menu navigation to avoid the Mourningstar’s painfully long everything, and Meatgrinder enhancements for more thorough testing
- The game in general being extremely unoptimized, causing even my comparatively mid-tier rig (would be godlike to someone from the xbone era) to suffer a low framerate with minimum settings
- Pretty mid cosmetics, both free and MTX
- Having MTX in a game I paid money for
-
Having MTX in a game I paid money for
- Clear knowledge on how to make a good video game with the core gameplay loop being excellent, and a complete and utter failure to develop something meaningful around it
- Crafting RNG, 'nuff said already
- Bots still woefully useless, no option to at least supplant a bot slot with one of my other characters
- It took about two years to add secrets and collectibles to this game, and even then they don’t unlock anything interesting
- Sluggish character grind. I think someone gets shot once you get to level 30 but I don’t know who they are, nor do I particularly care.
Adding it to the book under Bugs, my thanks for properly documenting.
I mean, there’s the original sin of releasing the game without the crafting system even present.
The game was originally advertised to have weapon customization, but they pulled that almost entirely - fortunately modders can now allow us access to that ability. But unmodded gamers out there are left with things like helbore rifles without proper sights.
The greater sin in their abhorrent communication practices.
The sin of creating an obvious FOMO shop and then saying that “players would be too confused if we just put all of the cosmetics up at once” despite the fact that is how vermintide 2 is setup and they have a currently functioning blueprint.
A sin that is only understood by those that have downloaded the “for the drip mod” in so that there is currently a functional system in place on their back end to simply click your mouse once to recolor a piece of equipment.
Whether you feel those are grudge worthy I leave to your discretion
Crafting/weapon mods and their failure to communicate have their memorial and a Grudge already within the book respectively - but the FOMO shop excuse has a new thread as well, so it shall be added as a new entry.
As for ‘For the Drip’ - cosmetics being lazy is there.
So yes - many grudges from the cosmetics end.
Psyker Staff blessings being non functional/nonsensical.
Trauma is the worst offender.
