Darktide taught me what a toxic relationship feels like. I love this game. There is no other game like this one. I love the lore, the atmosphere, the characters, the enemies, the banter, the gameplay, the dodging, the blocking, the fighting, the challenge of modes like havoc40. But it doesn’t love me back. I spent 1,622 hours and $494.59 on Darktide (including gifting it to friends). I completed 100% of the Penances. I made a popular mod for it, and taught myself video editing so I could make YouTube content for Darktide. Get rid of FOMO item shop rotation

Hark ye scunners, I’ve come to b****. Tl;dr FOMO is a manufactured damper on customer satisfaction. Players would be more engaged with the item shop if you gave them they ability to buy whatever they wanted instead of forcing them to wait 2 weeks for new stock. Since I’ve started playing Darktide last year I’ve had my eyes set on the Tempestus Scion helmet. Scions were my first set of tabletop minis so I’ve been wanting to play as one in an official 40k game. The only problem is that I haven’…

The nonworking chat alone is so annyoing. I sometimes wonder if the devs enjoy playing this bugfest and failing again and again due to the same old bugs. The emperor is not proud.

That is a nice cross-section of reasons for why I haven’t even logged in to try the new mode out. Feels very unworth the time/bugs. Maybe if they unFOMOd some things or fixed sound issues… but nah, more throw away modes for niche audiences that split the playerbase even more, cool.

Still no fix for Abilities not going off when you press the button, and going off minutes later when you don’t want them to after YEARS of complaints.

It seem Ragnarok101 here cares more about the game than anyone at Fatshart.
