I think we were just lucky that there was no one who was actively ringing the bell 13 times. It just had an aura that drove the Skaven to a frenzy, and the heroes did count to 3 unintentionally with the destruction of the chains, which made the construct buckle under the shifted weight and thus ring the bell. If they’d just use 13 vital chains, it will do it’s job even when destroyed…
I should not give the Skaven any ideas.
I see it as a powerful artifact, but without someone using it (in this case, a grey seer) it won’t unleash it’s full potential. I’d even say we barely missed Rasknitt, as it apparently was complete, only waiting for someone to use it.
Might be that it cant both use a full power attack, or really any notable attack at all, and a strong personal shield at the same time.

Seems a bit lame for a powerful ritual tool though but v1 is a bit old at this point and had more limitation. Making that fight be a real party with magic flying around would probably have been too hard.
