We can already customize the keep to a degree with the painting frames and the individual rooms being opened as we level up the Ubersreik five, but I think it could be further improved if we could change things a little further. Specifically, being able to have a seasonal/holiday theme equipped whenever we wanted, and for our favorite bunch of heros, rooms that could match the themes of our favorite careers.

A quick example: Bardin’s room has just a few things for a ranger veteran, bow, beer barrels, work table, but in the Outcast Engineer’s trailer, they actually gave it a one time makeover, with more steam pipes and blueprints, so maybe we could gain the ability to redecorate it that way ourselves.

Now as to how I think it could be added in-game without disrupting the balance, as of right now many of us probably have more scap and magic powder from salvage than we know what to do with, so perhaps we could use said salvage to pay for keep decorations?

Yes please! It would be also awesome if we can see U5 in the Keep even when no other players are there (just put bots in their rooms or wherever they fit to be). There was a mod for that long time ago but it was never sanctioned so the author deleted it after some time…

I like the idea of customizing the keep.

We could have things like banners, trophies, decorations, statues etc. spread around. It could make the keep look really nice.

Another idea is when a player first joins your game while you’re in the Keep, they could spawn in the room of their respective characters.

Exceptions being when you join a low level player (when those rooms are not built yet) or when you all come from a mission together. In that case everyone spawns in the current location near the exit gate.

I think it’s a great idea, and it’s so dumb they didn’t implement this, because that’s what happens in the first game.

Only this way other players can see your paintings in those rooms.

Some more descriptions on how each character career could be used to reshape our heroes quarters (meant to do this when I originally posted, but got sidetracked lol).

Kruber Huntsman: Swap out the Blunderbuss on the table with a bow or rifle, and maybe add a tanning rack.

Kruber Footknight: an armor display with his nice shiny plate mail on it. Not sure what else

Kruber Grail Knight: also have an armor display, but it’s the grail knights outfit instead. Also, remove the blunderbuss since grail knight does not use guns and maybe add a little statuette of the Lady.

Bardin Ironbreaker: Armor display, and maybe instead of the crossbow on the work table, replace it with fire pistols or flamer gun (exact name eludes me at the moment).

Bardin Slayer: Statuette of Grimnir, and maybe even more ale kegs.

Kerillian Handmaiden: swap out the tent for something more High elven, fancier threads and all that.

Kerillian Shade: again, swap out the tent threads, but go for something more in line with the Dark Elves. Grimmer theme, and maybe include a Statuette to some of the Cytharai gods, like Khaine, Eldrazor, or the Pale Queen.

Kerillian Sister of Thorn: Tent completely overrun with ivy and thorns, and maybe have one of those fancy glowing stones that’s shown in the Sister of Thorn trailer.

Saltzpyre Bounty Hunter: Replace the little hat rack in the corner with a work table with the Bounty Hunter’s gun, and add a board covered with wanted posters.

Saltzpyre Zealot: only thing I can think of to is a self-flagellation post, if that’s even a thing in the warhammer world.

Saltzpyre Warrior Priest: Do you even need to ask? Another Shrine of Sigmar and holy tomes.

Not really sure what could be added for Sienn’s standard careers, except maybe more chains for her “Unchained” career, but Necromancer is obvious: more bones and macrabre artifacts.

Seems silly, but this would be a top desire for me in the game. Id love to be able to show off my keep to my friends especially if FS made the aesthetic customizations of the keep tied in to new Okris challenges. I’m itching for more challenges anyway so it’d be great to have challenging ones that give cool objects to set around the keep based on the career you earned it with. Also being able to set the weather myself would be cool so that I can match my local weather or have it always raining if I like.
