Hello there,
What do you think about a reward system that gives numerous trinkets and objects like skins for weapons and such directly linked toward the penance system or even special missions objectives ?
For instance, some rewards like seals and scriptures, some heraldry even, that you can customize your weapons and costumes with. it would require more slots to the weapons and the cosmetics we can already buy. And those rewards would provide some random minor bonuses that does not alter the stronger base mechanics of the game. Like +2% max heal on a seal, +2% damages on some heraldry etc etc. The idea is to add some RP lore depth to the customisation system without breaking what is already existing. Those trinkets and small decorations would be placable on many different part of weapons, and on cosmetic “armors” too.
Also, what do you think about more skins for weapons ? Maybe GW is against such things but i wont mind getting some more skins as in VT2 from chests or other ways for my weapons.
Imo, it would benefit the shop (not to buy them but to buy some other more detailed and well polished cosmetics with slots on them) and the feeling of progression. And also would give us more incentive to play besides the fun we can get with a team and the difficulty of some levels with modifiers.
Why not put those rewards with another npc than Sir Melks and Hadron ? For instance Interogator Rannick or even Grendyl himself ? It would be some really hardcore missions or feat to perform occasionnally. Most of the penances are nice, but pointless except if somehow the points u earn by completing them gives you something in return, wich is not the case yet.
I think this idea could close a loop and add more to the general experience of the game and even make ppl closer to w40k, afficionados and profane.
What do you think about it ?
