Like the title says, its mind boggling how many people on the forums perpetually ask for weapon nerfs. Are you still playing in Malice Difficulty?
I WANT my team to be able to handle the endless waves of Armored Elites and Bosses that Auric and Havoc missions throw at us. I don’t care who kills them, as long as they get taken care of. All you cry babies that care about personal kills sound so immature. Its a team game that revolves around getting from point A to B without dying. That’s why there isn’t a built-in scoreboard.
Quit wasting valuable Development time with your whining about how other players get more kills than you.
No. As long as your overpowered weapon means I can’t play the game, because enemies disintegrate before I can get within arms reach of them, for the entire mission, then I’m going to continue to call for them to be nerfed. It really is that simple.
I really, really, don’t want to have figure out the proper difficulty for each build. Plus, of course, if my teamates all have OP stuff, there isn’t really a proper difficulty, just a desired (over)power fantasy level.
I agree. The devs should stop this nonsense of ruining the fun of a good majority of players. Stop all of these nerfs and finally implement the “Skip to the win screen” button before releasing Mortis Trials 3.
wrong, its a “coop” game.
a “team” consists of people i know in real life, respect and trust.
thats a pretty distinct difference.
random-joe is “there” cause for whatever reason i don’t have the option to completely turn him off, YET.
space marine 2 solved that problem very efficiently and early on and since its been a thing not one of the “its just a game bro” crowd ever soiled a match.
peace, quiet and all the joys of doing solo what the game has on offer.
the modded one suits me well enough, as does solo mod currently.
easy, well enjoy a funny 5 minutes read time between that last bowel movement and the
if it distracted you long enough, its done a superb job
It trivializes the game. Winning is only fun if everyone earns it by working together. If a few players are abusing something, then the squeky wheel shouldn’t get the grease, sometimes it needs to be removed.
Are you a smite psyker who 100% of time uses a charged attack and believes it’s fun gameplay, an honorable role, and a great help to the team to “to be able to handle the endless waves”? NO
Glad someone else has said this, whether it’s the classes or weapons, these people keep wanting to nerf everything, it’s like they won’t be happy until the skill tree is removed.
What an interesting world you apparently live in. Seems very different to the one I occupy. Do you deny player power has increased massively since launch? Do you deny that the power difference between different tools can be quite massive? Do you deny that certain limitations on player power is necessary to design enjoyable challenges?
The desire for some nerfs is a natural conclusion from the preceding realities. To act like it is unjustified to want some nerfs to top performers is to either ignore the history of balance adjustments in this game, or to deny basic game designs elements (eg adding more enemies is ineffective as a difficulty increase when infinite cleave with no resource cost exists).
I just genuinely don’t know what planet people like you and OP live on where apparently seeing the victory screen is all that matters, wanting to enjoy the journey to said victory screen or even (the horror) enjoying struggling to win at all is not a factor.
What an incredibly unfulfilling way to engage with video games. If you didn’t negatively affect the balance of the game with your desire to only buff things, I would feel nothing but pity.
You will never have this problem in Auric or high level Havoc missions. Perhaps you should try them out.
I go into games with the weakest weapons and still rack up kills. You are living in a fantasy land where if you are not getting 99% of kills, you can’t have fun.
Exactly. I have no idea what pithy difficulty these clowns play in, but every single weapon has its strengths and weaknesses. There is no “OP” weapon. Sure, some are better against carapace, but are gimped when it comes to attack speed.
