I mean what I really want is a single player setting and bots that don’t suck, then I wouldn’t need to block anybody; they could all be as big a tool as they like far away from me, but since I don’t have that, I’d very much appreciate it if I could block more than fifty speed running jerks at once.

I am not against SP mode, but I must say, it is a strange need in a coop game. I just wanted to point out that if everyone needs to be blocked, maybe the everyone else part is not the problem.
Sure but just don’t turn against the OP when they quite sincerely just want to play singleplayer Darktide. If you can’t be empathetic to that, then at least try not to insult them.

Are we sure that we have read the same post? OP blocked 50 players who were “speedrunning”. I blocked 2 people in my 1100 hours for extremely bad manners. The block function is not for playstyles you don’t like. And if everyone is speedrunning, there is a teeny tiny chance that they are not speedrunning.
I support SP mode. But it does not change the fact that there is another problem here.
Also, me pointing out something is not an insult only if you choose it to be.

Implying they’re a problem can be, but whatever. The OP pretty clearly communicated what they actually want, it’s not to block people, it’s to play the game in singleplayer. But I admit it’s a stupid choice though to use this title for the thread and write another thing entirely for the actual post/feedback.
I mean, I blocked people that votekicked me because I picked up one of them being teabagged by another. 
I’ve seen a fair share of inane teenagers and the odd insufferable player, and I usually don’t block them because spending that much effort means they win.
But A solo-mode would be nice anyways. Are there no mods that do that?
I assume that the creature spawner mod for the psykanium doesn’t block a fatshark dedicated server, so there must be a way.
Of course, the game relying on dedicated servers is probably the reason they want them filled with as many players as possible for economic reasons.

I guess I have to explain that there’s a difference between one player lagging behind the rest of the team and one person zooming ahead as fast as they can, ignoring enemies, items, specials, and incapacitated teammates if they’re not directly in front of them. Do you actually find it unimaginable that this behavior might detract from the experience for everyone else (especially when I’m trying to complete this damn 6 missions with 0 player deaths job from Melk), or are you just the person who does it?
Vote kicking them doesn’t always work because apparently there are people who think just getting rid of these players somehow gives them power instead of taking it away from them.
If I were blocking everybody who was just not very good then a limit of fifty wouldn’t last me a week, and naturally some of the list is taken up by people who name themselves after Nazis.

It usually comes down to either that one or 16 books, and that one has a very real chance of needing me to do 16 missions.
Yeh, choices are usually poor. Everyone does the 2 resource collection ones, and then there’s 4 kill enemy type quests, missions, missions with no deaths, books, monstosities.
After the resources and monstrosities, it can get a bit tedious. Still, one mission without deaths, ok. But 6? Far too many factors out of my control. Namely, three per mission.

I’ve dropped down to Malice to finish those “no player deaths” missions, after trying in Heresy and having someone immediately jump into the first demonhost we saw and die near instantly with us two ogryns trying to save them. Even in Malice, it’s hard to save people from themselves, even with taunt abilities.
Im right there with ya. I like taking my time with levels…even ones ive played 100 times. Drives people CRAZY. I want SP with bots SO BAD
