Steam reviews at 48% only 9% more and the game will be in the "Mostly Negative" state

Can’t believe Fatshark didnt wait later to release this. They could have just pulled it off steam after Beta and actually fixed it and then release it later in 2023 along with an apology to all the buyers and a refund. We would have all been absolutely ok with that and definitely would have purchased it at full price then. I wonder what was going through their heads when they thought releasing the game in an unfinished state was a good idea.

Amen brother. It pains me to see a 'tide game hitting such lows, but what’s there to do. My favorite part is releasing it during Christmas then going for a vacation while fans are left with a shoddy game. The whole thing is just cynical.

My personal opinion is similar to this, they could have just said, its going into early access after the beta. Most of the alternative actions were better than what they picked.

Whoever works in their PR department needs to seriously take some time and self reflect how they can do better at their job.

Hint: it is never to late to look into more fulfilling career paths.

Those mostly come from the pre-release beta, when there was expectation that the game would release in a more complete state.

I reviewed positive in pre order beta but changed it to negative after release. My review is staying negative until they add a good scoreboard.

That’s not entirely fair. They did make a few unpopular changes before they went om vacation.

How can a game which crashes frequently not have mostly negative reviews is the real question.

Thing is, they could even have pushed a few months the release while launching Pre order beta at the time they did and would have gotten same amount of money but less complaint sbecause well it’s still a beta.

They probably didn’t care and count on the whales to keep the game afloat.

Delays cost money, and it’s pretty obvious after all the delays the game went through they were in the rough.
At some point you reach the threshold where you cannot afford to push it back any longer and have to release what you have in order to fund its completion, this is the state we’re in.

It’s an all-time classic, if anything.

Considering most of 40k fans are whales since they let GW scam them with price hikes for yeaaaaars now, I say it’s good bet. 40k fans when they see skin from 40k in game they just throw wallet at screen probably

It doesn’t even matter if it ever goes as low as Mostly Negative. A game that has Mixed both in lifetime and in recent is a hard avoid for the absolute majority of people.

Maybe they should now try to give darktide away for free to advertice vermintide. To bring the numbers again above 50%.:joy: .
If i am not wrong you multiply steam reviews *20. So this poor indis sold somewhat between 1-3 million copys *40€. And i guess at least double the number with mtx. They really should do this before they drown in all the money. Oh and maybe finish the game after counting the money and dancing.

At this point, I have more time on the forums than the game itself. Imperial Beta should have lasted 2-4 months with furious development/fixes done as it went. Instead everyone was concerned more about progress carrying over…in reality the “overlords” wanted their returns so they could move onto their next great scam.
