But let’s talk serious here. I hate exclusive content. There is no real reason to make it exclusive. Exclusive digital content is dusgusting.

Agreed. I also dislike the whole Twitch Drop thing too.
The whole “exclusive” thing stinks. Both in gaming and in everything else.
Pay more money and such to feel like you are special, when in fact you just a wonker.
The only “exclusivity” I accept is stuff you have to unlock via penances/gameplay
or in RL stuff you earn through accomplishments.

I completely agree. Getting something others can’t for arbitrary reasons doesn’t make me feel any better, if anything it only makes it feel worse.
Honestly I was so excited to see anything at all pop up in the announcements section. Was bummed that it turned out to be a fashion update. I don’t actually think this game is anywhere near the point at which they should be selling cosmetics at all. 
This sure will help to make the two sides love eachother even more… 
Now I’m not sure if they would have to buy the game a second time, but apparently xbone has cross save so you can literally open DT on any computer so you can assumedly get the skins on Xbox.
However in general I disagree. We already have time limited portraits and helmets I don’t think this is that bad.
I think that is a lost cause anyway 
And a bit of back and forth ball busting is always fun.
Console players can’t handle auric level missions though, I find that to be a bit frustrating
No disagreement here.
The whole crossplay thing is a bit of a disaster, because of month more experience of PC Players + limitations of controllers + the tendency(!) of console players to be a bit more casual in gaming.
But if FS wants to make the two sides work better together,
splitting them visibly isn’t the right path, isn’t it?
they’re not going to be visually split, not sure what that means to be honest it’s not like every PC player is only ever gonna wear these outfits it’s just a nice reward for the players who have been here from the beginning, newer PC players won’t get it either.
And console people can buy a crapton of cosmetics for the foreseeable future with their 14k, so they can look as fancy as they want, they will be fine.
I do think it’s better for both sides to have their own servers though, The controller and M/k are so different they just don’t mash together in a high twitch game like this.
Yeah, console players totally missed out on all that blueberry camo.

Well, IF a PC Player is wearing ANY piece of those exclusive cosmetics,
the X-Bois will be reminded that they can’t have that.
And that WILL happen…
I think it sets a bad precedent.
Because NEXT will be an X-Box Exclusive and I already can hear the whining from PC Players (including me) how F-ED it is, that we can’t get those cosmetics.
We should just be happy, they only got “free” fake money thus far.
Exclusives are overall just a bad concept.
Ok granted objectively you are probably right and exclusives are a bad idea. But right now I am getting free stuff and I am just gonna do silly dances of joy in a very annoying way. Because I am like that.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful or anything, but I have to agree. I don’t like exclusives. Everyone should be able to enjoy every aspect of the game even if it’s small. I wish FatShark just delivered on the aquilas, so nobody would be missing out on anything. The solution they went with only serves to deepen the divide between platforms.
