Something funky is going on with the settings page

I think there’s an issue with the settings page that is some how impacting performance.

I can replicated it reliably, and hoping others can as well.

  1. log in and stare at the mission board and get a baseline frame rate, I get 90 FPS.
  2. hit escape, then Options, then Video.
  3. Toggle a setting and then toggle it back. (ex turn Vsync on then back off)
  4. hit escape until you’re back in the game.
  5. Frame rate should be reduced. I see 70 FPS.
  6. Hit escape, then options (you do not need to go to video)
  7. Hit escape until you’re back in the game.
  8. Frame rate should be restored. I see 90 FPS.

5600x, RTX 4080, 32 GB of memory, NVME boot drive and separate NVME drive for games.

EDIT:

I did some more testing and this only seems to happen for me when ray tracing is on.
