I don’t wanna use my PC for games anymore since I have too many work projects on it now. But since the game has no cross-progression I have to do it all again. I think a game that has penances like “Play 500 games” and you have play “each mission type” 500 times and as each class, should have cross-progression. I don’t know what do they have to lose by putting it there.
It’s added work for a feature not a lot of people would use.
I agree that it should totally be a thing. Every crossplay game should have cross progression. Your save is already on their server. Locking it by platform is silly.
I assume you play on steam?
I know game pass and xbox has cross progression
Have you reached out to support to see if they can migrate your account to your desired platform? I don’t know if it’s doable, but if you haven’t tried already, might be worth a shot
Yes. But I bought an Xbox.
well then my friend, you seem to be out of luck.
I bet the cross-progression need an account or STH for all different platform, steam account and xbox account itself will not work like that unless Valve and Microsoft want to share the account information even if there is no legal issue.
That’s not the case. Because when Xbox app and Steam save your game in addition to the cloud they also have your saves locally. Actually Xbox app primarily has your saves locally then it will send it to the cloud if the game supports it. But there are no local saves for Darktide on either Microsoft store or Steam. So, Fatshark just store my saves on their own servers and they just refuse to do the cross-save thing.
