I’m not sure you wanted to answer me
(I did point that he could be underpowered)
RIP my ability to click the right post to reply to xD
I mean, keep in mind that GK provides literally nothing but passive buffs and damage. Doesn’t seem to have any CC or THP generation for the party. So I think there is still reason to want to have Merc/FK/Huntsman as all of them provide things that are extremely valuable that the GK doesn’t bring. Not to mention, GK can’t snipe specials so unless they walk up to him to shake his hand, he can’t contribute to that.
So there are reasons to not pick up GK just like there are reasons to pick up GK. Depends on the party’s needs and I suppose the content as well. I imagine in PUGs, he’d probably be iffy as the more panic ults and such you have, the more success the team will have in completing a run… BUT he does give party buffs that are pretty relevant which contribute to the overall success of the group. Not to mention that at the very least, his ult makes him innately good at dealing with armor. In more organized play, he might be pretty good if your team is able to coordinate not having to need a panic ult and would rather opt into something with more frontline dps AND the ability to hold a pocket for your ranged dps to do its job unpressured.
Pyro + beam staff before BBB I think. Look it up
Nah, never been interested in Sienna :V
Mine is lvl1, but I’m much too familiar with the term XD
pyro critics built + beam staff, an old meme
This actually brings up a pretty serious point that isn’t being addressed. With the current player numbers, and being that there are days when “there are literally no Cata runs in the entire US”, are we even considering the potential problem of being able to play this new class with the “already picked” char selection pattern we have?
Man, reading most topics on this site is honestly extremely tedious. Most of the comments in this thread about lore are pretty empty - because all it takes is Fatshark releasing a bundled-up backstory about how a character really has some lineage, and suddenly what didnt seem plausible before, becomes entirely possible to alot of people.
I bet if Fatshark made a Choppa class for Bardin, and released some back story of how Lohner found out that Bardin has an orc-half cousin, most people here would consider entertaining the idea.
At the end of the day, the lore that you immortalize has little or nothing to do with the game - because it can be bent and twisted to fit “any” narrative - “BECAUSE IT IS ALL BASED ON FICTION”
So please…spare us…
Let me just humour this by taking the bait and telling you that there is no such thing as a half orc, all greenskin, orcs included, are sentient, humanoid, genderless mushrooms that reproduce through spores they release constantly, which is how they never seem to run out of troops- these spores always result in a combination of orcs, goblins, snotlings and squigs.
Therefore, an imperial human with bretonnian human lineage is completely possible, whereas a dwarf with orcish lineage is completely nonsensical. It’s not even an argument.
Also Sienna trying another wind is also possible. So don’t cry when her 4th career comes out.
Let’s not open that chaos gate just yet, please?
I’d prefer she get an alternate backstory if they go with another wind.
Nah tzeentch corruption is probably out of question for this one. Dhar is, though. We just got a Hedge Wizard Garb in the lohner’s shop after all. That should give an hint.
No I mean, too much magic in one place could literally open a rift in space where demons could pour out. Or the wizard could just get outright possessed or explode.
This is a very real risk for human wizards who try to learn more than one wind.
I don’t think you can ‘accumulate’ more magic. You just ‘draw’ from the winds and manipulate them. So that does not ‘add magic’. But manipulating 2 winds for a human is pretty much impossible as a precise thing, so it get violent effects.
Which is why Sienna could restrain her by not using aqshy at all when she trains her ‘other wind’.
You draw the wind to you, which is how your spells are powered.
More wizards or more powerful wizards (because they are more skilled) can draw more magic to them, causing the accumulation.
Unskilled wizards can accidentally draw more magic to them than they can handle, which would cause one of the aforementioned disasters.
I recall that having more than 20-30 (human) wizards on the same battlefield is considered insanity and a ticking nuclear bomb, only with demons as an after-effect in addition to the mass destruction.
Therefore Sienna will now cast tornadoes on herself and her allies trying to use that new wind and it will be fun
Either that or wet farts, we won’t know until the smell gets there, or someone gets thrown straight into the chaos encampment 2 states up.
This is probably why he has the slayer career.
