So few weapon color schemes feels like a weird lack of polish

It bothers me that the skins only exist for ONE mark and as the OP said the weapons added since launch don’t even have them. Totally unpolished feeling.

Fatshark, if you want selling cosmetics please don’t be lazy with weapon variations

This is something that annoys me. When you apply a cosmetic to a weapon, the cosmetic is the same for all MK. It means that your weapon will look, sometimes, like an other weapon. Example of the heavy sword: [cosmetics_heavy_swords] As you can see, the cosmetic is from the heavy sword Mk IX, a skin I don’t like (personal opinion). One nice thing about the weapon customization mod is that it lets you apply the weapon texture separate from the model changes. Which is a huge improvement that FS should implement.

Add to this a weapon customization system with, here again, 4 levels of customization:
Level 1: the model we use
Level 2: a color we can apply to the model
Level 3: various details you could add (like a skull on the weapon, a different ironsight)
Level 4: accessories (scope, light etc)
