So did our experienced Fatshark game designers consider how Toughness is going to affect the "clutch" situations?

Toughness “almost” works if you have squad mates left, not so much if you are the last man standing and faced with a lot of shooters. Back to the drawing board?

I dont like toughness because it makes no sense neither lorewise
It could be replaced by a personal shield generator&Iron halo thing,which is kinda regular among inquisitorial retinues,which automaticly generat shields while is not overloaded,makes more sense

I think the idea is that the game mechanic encourages you to stick to the team for all the toughness and other passive benefits. Sadly this as half-baked as the whole game.
