I have encountered a visual glitch on out door maps ever since an update, everytime i look up at the sky box its flickering almost looking like an missing teaxture grid error of somekind.
no other game does this, it’s only on Darktide and its never happens on like indoor maps only outdoor when i can look up at the sky box itself, this started to happen like 2 updates ago and i have installed latest drivers with Nvidia but it’s still happening.
this havent caused any crashes it’s just a bit annoying when i can see it.
like i said THIS only happens on outdoor maps when the sky box is seen and on the mourning when i look outside the windows.

i did try to verify game files but that didnt work.
i did try out 5 other games like
Half sword
Hunt Showdown
Resident evil 9
helldivers 2
PEAK
and non of them and other games i mentioned shows the exact same type of glitches.
it’s only happening in darktide and its the Sky box that only shows that kind of visual bug no other texture does so.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I also am having this issue, with 100% reproduction rate.
In my case, it happened when I upgraded to the latest nVidia drivers (RTX 4090). It did not happen prior to that. I tried deleting the shader cache, verifying the Darktide install, and re-installing the nVidia driver. I’m going to try a clean install of the driver (with DDU) and if that doesn’t work I’ll re-download Darktide. It might be a driver issue though?
this is a Nvidia driver issue, severe enough I rolled back I get a headache looking at the skybox on the sand maps…hopefully its in the store updating hotfix next week.

It seems to be the Nvidia driver and some on amd, i also posted on Reddit forum and people over there have the same issue.

I re-installed my nVidia driver (full clean install with DDU), uninstalled Darktide completely (including deleting any leftover files and settings in roaming/fatshark/darktide/, then re-downloaded Darktide.
Even perfectly vanilla (no mods) with every combination of graphics settings I still got the sky box glitch. 
ah that sucks..
i did verify the files but didnt bother to make a DDU reinstall of drivers or reinstalling the game because others LIKE you did those stuff and its still happening on both Nvidia and AMD cards.
Hi, created this account just for this bug 
Anyway rolled back to previous Nvidea Driver fixed the issue
so most likely is something that came with the driver update 
hope it gets fixed soon

The Nvidia driver from January 27th.
591.86 was the last stable driver for me(Jan, 27). Not sure if anyone has tested Hotfix Driver 595.76 (Released 3/4/26)?
UPDATE 2026-03-10
I saw a new Nvidia Driver that is Version 595.79 that came out today on the 10th.
i made a fresh update of it and tried out Darktide and the same sky box visual glitch is still happening, its the same with with the space section outside of the mourning star, never inside of places only the sky box outside of outdoor ereas.
I might do what other have done and move to the last driver that came out in february were everything was working great! until a fix is released soon :c
I just tested and also had the skybox issue with the latest from today. Rolling back again I guess.
I rolled back to hotfix version 581.94
It seems like all the 595.xx versions are experiencing sky box visual glitches.
Nvidia are getting funny
595.59 - Caused fans to stop spinning because it was under reporting temperature.
595.71 - Fixes above. But broke voltage limit and underclocked GPUs. They release a hotfix but hotfixes do not show up on nvidia app or manual driver search. Have to manually know about and download.
595.79 - Then fixes this voltage issue
Think I’ll stick to 591.86. Feels like I should stick to being one driver branch behind.
