Significant performance Drop after the latest update

Issue Description (Required):

I used to run the game at max settings with only RT off and FSR 3 at quality and getting consistent 144fps with only minor dips into 110-120 during high level havocs.

After the update though the situation worsened, I had to downgrade almost all visual options. Nonetheless I get random but frequent significant stutters and most notably more than half my fps vanished, I now average at 100ish or 120 (it fluctuates from day to day) fps with drops into 40-50 during fights, for some reason the Quality fsr gives me more fps than balanced and even performance.

Deactivating Mods
Updating Mods
Reinstalling Gpu drivers
Check game files integrity
Fresh reinstall
Deleting the %appdata% folder

I have the same setup (except a 9800x3D) and you have linked my attempted solutions.

Make sure that you have saved the config files.

Also, I have found from testing the enabling Anti-lag for Darktide helps significantly with smoothness and responsiveness for Darktide. And for complicated reasons to do with the FFX Swapchain, I recommend enabling frame generation. It doesn’t just add frames, because of how FSR is implemented it also is clearer in motion and helps with performance consistency.

I think this might have fixed it for me, i disabled anti-lag and the game feels buttery smooth. I also did the streamer buffer size edits like demonstrated, but imo that alone didn’t work earlier.
