Severe Stuttering After GPU Upgrade (RX 5070 XT)

Issue Description (Required):

Hi, I’m completely stumped by this issue. I’ve been a happy player with over 1,000 hours in this game, but ever since I swapped my RTX 3070 Ti for an RX 5070 XT, the game has become nearly unplayable.

While the average frame rate is higher and I can run higher settings, I’m experiencing severe frame dips and long-lasting stutters—almost like frame skipping. This only happens in this game.

Other titles like Battlefield 6, Helldivers (which I’ve heard uses the same engine), and Cyberpunk 2077 run flawlessly.
Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Tried:

Fresh install of Windows 11 (full drive wipe)

Multiple AMD driver versions

Running with and without mods

Testing various graphics settings (Low to Ultra) and adjusting core affinity

Tweaking BIOS settings

Current System Specs:

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5070 XT

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

RAM: 32GB DDR4 @ 3666MHz

There are no crashes, so I don’t have any crash logs to share.

[PC] Do You Use Mods? (Optional):

Yes, and I’ve tried disabling them

Did you mean to write 9070 XT?
5070 XT doesn’t seem to exist, if you meant to write 5700 XT then that would be a pretty big downgrade to a 3070 Ti.

Have you done the full wipe with Display Driver Uninstaller in Windows Safe Mode?
If not, I would recommend it. And for installation, download the offline(!) installer of the driver beforehand.

Yes sorry I meant 9070xt
