Imagine losing so badly, your last resort is to use multiple accounts to flag so many posts falsely that the DEV has to lock the whole thread down and clean up the blood bath.

I agree completely that I haven’t seen any toxicity coming out of the scoreboard. On the other hand, I’ve seen players come back to the game specifically because of the scoreboard mod, and I’ve also seen post-game compliments come out of the scoreboard mod, e.g. “Dang! You did a ton of damage! GJ! What build are you using?” and that sort of thing.
Seeing all your posts getting flagged and the thread temporarily locked is all the justification that is needed to explain what’s going on and who is ultimately being “toxic.”

Post-game scoreboards are non-toxic by nature.
In-game scoreboards’ toxicity is pretty much fixed by these:
- you can block toxic players
- you can report players who use slurs or are abusive in any sense (breaking ToS)
I don’t understand any of the arguments (if there are any, really) against scoreboards.
I really don’t.

I think this fight is over, we got our scoreboard as a mod and devs are not removing it.
We can stop fighting each other, since there is no practical reason to. Everyone can hold to their opinions and statements, it doesn’t matter who is right anymore.
I never wanted to change someones mind when I opposed anti-scoreboard people. I wanted to leave as much counter arguments for others to see and decide who is right, I hoped that devs would be those deciders.

I’ve blocked toxic people and people with offensive names only to see them show up in my very next run. It doesn’t work.

Feedback received.
That said, the mod exists and you can indeed use it as you already are. Your needs are met.
We have also received a fair bit of feedback that the mod alters the way they play the game, and in a way they found to be either a detriment to their enjoyment or a detriment to cooperative play.
We have also received evidenced reports of players who use the scoreboard mod specifically to attack other players’ playstyles or contributions.
Given the why this thread is unfolding I’m inclined to lock it down.
