There are templates that permits you to raise your damages to 1m and are obviously too strong. FS knows them, and they let them like that.

In other words, they don’t care of the situation. This, and other annoyances, means I tend to spend less and less time here on the forum… So many things messed that FS doesn’t give a f…

So now, I play it less and less, just to take pleasure, don’t buy cosmetics cause I don’t want to support their cosmetic policy, don’t get in balance discussion thread cause it is pointless…
Yes, I have lost my faith in the future of this game… at least until they change their way to build this game. Actually they think about profits before the game mechanisms.

Time is the major factor here, after that it would be how good your teammates are, then how aggressively you play and for last it would be loadout and talent build.

We both know that… and we both know that I point several weapons obviously too strong and that everybody know they are (cause they use them more than the other weapons… guess why…)

i get average numbers, maybe my builds are not meta or perfect, but they fit my playstyle and skill and i use some support abilities with all classes.
I never the less believe i’m mostly contribute good to the team because i rezz people i use support skills with all classes, mark enemies, i often kill many disablers, do almost everytime most damage to monstrosities due to weapon choice, allways cover rear etc.
On the other hand i do only mediocre damage to lesser enemies/ hordes and elites sometimes because if i know the team can handle this i sometimes are out of coherency looking for ressources or ammo, but i often nontheless have the highest coherency score.

Scoreboard is the only way that we can get information on how a certain loadout and talent build perform, I do not put much importance in the actual damage dealt, but I do find it odd that there is at least one melee weapon out there that can cause as much actual damage as in overkill damage and at that point it would be hard to disagree that it is overtuned. At that point I’d like to call it damage potential more then “overkill” damage.

On a sidenote, I have however noticed that the original scoreboard gives me a higher damage value then if I am using OvenProof’s scoreboard plugin.

FWIW, this plugin is the way to go. Disable all the original scoreboard lines, especially the “score” totals, and just use Ovenproof :slight_smile:

My own version (that I won’t diffuse as it uses parts of codes of other modders, but for my personal use that’s great)

But it is not

I added corruption, I changed the % restored by medic station that you can find in a m,od by an average % restored, I monitor the number of plasteel / diams packs collected (and not the amount of plasteel/diam), I added the monitoring of all death and changed also the monitoring of damages. That’s just a part of the changes I made :wink:

EDIT and sidenote: the ammunition monitoring was firstly done by me and integrated lately in other mods mainly cause I explicitly said that everybody can use the code I released like they want… but not all modders do that.
Sidenote 2: I did the ammunition mod after asking for it and after getting an answer that it was not interesting to implement… So I did it and maybe (at least it seems) I must have convinced of the contrary.

Regarding ammo, the packs are broken and unintuitive. They should contain ammo letting people loot them as often as they like until ammo runs out (like health packs more or less) or, if they contain charges like they do now (which is unintuitive) then it should be very clear just by looking at them how many charges they have left (like DRG for instance).

All pickups disappear from the floor when you interact with them.
So ammo bags are fine.

Ammo crates should come with a number above them, to indicate remaining charges (as they do if you have the mod for it).
They should stay as they are and keep 4 charges. Otherwise they would be completely different from how ammo bags work, and there could be funny interactions with the vet talent that refills grenades (ogryn could throw a bomb, fire 1 shot of stubber, restore less than 1% of max ammo and gain a new bomb, repeat).

Med packs could also come with a bar or % indicator.

No, they don’t. They disappear once anyone has picked up anywhere between one bullet and maxed out their ammo four times, not once, so they do not behave like regular pickups.

Right, but that was my point which I also wrote. If they must work in this unintuitive way then it should be clear how many charges they have left (like in DRG).

Don’t know what are you are talking about, never happens to me.

when i first saw the scoreboard mod I thought it will bring lots of toxic stat nerds to the game, yet playing eu for ~650 hours and havent noticed anyone doing that, even those who has 1k+ level characters being polite if someone did a mistake (including my worry-arse). dont use it because sometimes scoreboard like to be buggy and just zero stat someone from time to time, plus making more focus on what they do on the run itself for more clear info

I think you misunderstood me.

I said all pickups (aka everything that can be picked up) disappear from the floor when picked up (that is what happens per definition of “picking something up”).
That is indeed the case with all things that can be picked up.

Ammo bags can not be deployed. They just go away when you loot them.

Ammo crates can be deployed.

I’m personally not using the scoreboard mod but the only time I see it’s used in a toxic context is on social media plattforms like discord/reddit. I don’t want to take away from your experience maybe it’s just a regional difference?.

You think this game is hard enough to need more than pings for communication? Unless there’s third mission select page with 6th difficulty I missed, I doubt it.

I don’t like getting mic spammed. It happens a lot to me. I came back in October, and every 3rd game or so was someone with a permanent open mic. So I muted it.

I still see the microphone symbol perma on some teammates when I’m doing regular Damnations for contracts.
