Won’t all those periodically return ?
With the exception of the Twin raid since it was just for the introduction of them

GW delayed Slayer Bardin’s eyepatch cosmetic for, like, 2 whole years via nitpicking. Do not underestimate GW’s ability to nitpick.
So i was right the first time, it was internal miscommunication or smth like it.
Good thing too because that can be easily fixed unlike games workshops psychosis.
In general GW doesn’t give a rats ass about the quality of the game (though that’s probably going to change with how popular they’re starting to get in mainstream). What they care about is how well the game adheres to lore. Pretty much every licensed GW video game follows the lore despite how bad the game actually is. Ultramarines always look and act like Ultramarines. Guardsmen wear the standard metal armor plate and bowling bowl helmet and will always rock lasguns. Etc. and etc.
GW also seems to want you to be able to point at any model in any given game and easily match it with a corresponding plastic model.
It also seems that when licensesing out games, GW also requires the story to have certain elements. For example, both Owlcat and Saber Interactive got handed the same general story to work with (Aurora, Fateweaver, Necrons).
wrong, what they care about is how the game adheres to legal. you can’t do anything that MIGHT hurt their IP rights and it’s up to legal to decide what does that.
