I’m afraid we gain access to the recordings only significantly after the fact. All our security clearances are good for unfortunately.

Kinda wonder why she is being tolerated or if Rannick is hoping that Lord Margrave overplays his hand. Obviously the Inquisition has bigger fish to fry than a pissing contest over battlefield command; they’ll want the heads of the ringleaders, the utter destruction of the cults, and any weak links in the planetary government removed from the chain. Still not sure why Dukane is commanding from the Mourningstar and not just setting up a CP in the hive spires, though. Seems a bit of an unnatural choice.

Hope we get the next story development soon. Strawhat seemed to suggest so:

I love this kind of stuff happening that just shows it’s a complete mad house at fatshark.

Her posting there is likely warning and a veiled insult to Rannick from Sector Lord Margrave. The Lord is getting tired of the war dragging on and Grendyl being missing and doing who-knows-what at who-knows-where. He’s showing he has enough political power to barge onto a Rogue Trader’s ship and the ability to interfere with the Inquisition (and get away with it) and has the actual firepower to back his threats. Posting a Commissar there pretty much says he has lost all confidence in them.
