First you gotta remove anything to do with darktide off your pc. Cache, app data, everything. Use program “everything” to easily find files. Back up mods. Then reinstall Darktide. It should work fine now. Then also to remove stuttering turn of cfg in exploit protections in windows for darktide only. This will remove alot of stuttering. I had all the issues, loading problems, audio stuttering and general poor performance, and doing this works.
and here i am on xbox with a game breaking bug thats been going unnoticed or ignored by fatshark lol. theres a bug that freezes your game about 2 out of 10 matches where your entire screen freezes and the goes back to normal until you notice everyone is floating or running through walls and then 9 out of 10 times youll be disconnected shortly after with an error code 2014 or 2104. this bug will drop any of the items you were carrying and destroy any grimoire you nabbed. the only silver lining is that it will always allow you to reconnect, the only issue is that you have no idea where youll spawn in or if your bot went down when you were gone which messes with the flow severely.
