I completely agree with OP about the weapons shop, it is unnecessarily limiting.By the Emperor, more often than not you can’t even buy a weapon that you just unlocked to give it a try!
I think long progression is a good thin, but slow progression… it feels a bit like a chore. The current system is very unrewarding.
