Fatshark should rework the Zealot to not be the only career disadvantaged by a game mechanic that gives an advantage to all the other careers.
There have been multiple suggestions over the years, such as allowing “self-flagellation”, converting all gained green HP to temp HP, allowing opt-out from health regen mechanics, or rework the Zealot to not be buffed only at low health, etc. Pretty much any of those is better than the current system.

I am so sick of joining a game and having to ask a Waystalker not to use Amaranthe, or ask a group not to pick up Grims because a Grail Knight has the team passive healing quest. We need the ability to deny these things from affecting our green health. Allow Zealots to opt out of receiving healing from passives, heal share talents, and idiots that don’t know not to heal the Zealot. Or make all healing sent our way temp health instead of green health. Trying to play Zealot effectively with an…
Zealot is already a popular class but some changes to talents could help build diversity and change up the Zealot’s role as a pure tank.
Unbending Purpose
[Rework]
Increases power by 20%
Increases damage taken by 10%
Reasoning
While increased power is a tempting choice as it affects both melee and ranged damage, Castigate offers a far more powerful buff at the cost of being on low life. While full life, tank Zealots may use this talent over the others, this rework aims to increase the risk…
so ive been playing a career that isnt in the focus of the BBB(zealot), and i noticed that the playstyle where you’re effectively only using temporary HP is really unfun to play in Quickplay/random Queue due to the abundance of healing effects you have no control of, namely:
Kerillian waystalker Healing passive
Grailknight Grimoire pickup health regen
and AoE Healshare on first Perk or Necklace
this is so anoying to the point that if a team contains either of those careers i avoid that lobby…
As all chadlots can attest to, the most hated enemy is not beastmen, or plaguemonks, or even a splitting sack rat- it’s green health.
NOTE: I do not want zealots to be “better” lord knows they are good enough. I want a clear oversight in how their HP works to be fixed, so their allies don’t constantly have to friendly fire them to keep those bodies good and ravaged.
Currently, zealots who want to run low HP for a level (I would assume most of us) either need to have their allies shoot them, or…
