Anything that isnt purple or orange. Might as well set little to no expectation and exceed it.
Unless one has the skill. Otherwised be laughed at.

What you are saying is because Fatshark completely failed with their “major content” update wearing those titles makes you trash? I think what makes you trash is your own inability to not judge people solely based on some letters below their name. I could give two f*cks what I see below their name, what I care about is how they play.
I said “more likely than not”. The whole second sentence talks about judging the person, obviously through performance.
Some real selective reading bud.
Oh I am sorry. ALMOST always. I am trying to understand you’re reasoning and justification behind how seeing a title makes you think trash lol. Learn to not judge a book by its cover, alright?
You dont have to taste sh!t to know it’s sh!t.
There are those rare moments/players though like Cat Sh!t Coffee.
I’m calling purple/orange titles Sh!t Badges.
Yeah that explains my feeling for this game with every update
I had to go to the bathroom SORRY
Partially yes, but also simply at times people have enough, they simply crashed, or had real life stuff to attend to, you know like a kid chocking on their food, or house being on fire. I will let them know tho that your personal game experience is more important than their own personal wellbeing.
I run into serial quitters, occasionally they make me laugh when the repeatedly disconnect on getting down to connect back multiple times. Yes, the game should probably not allow players to dodge death and other mechanics, but who cares? Someone else will take their place in 99% of cases.
this is a thing since beta (in fact since vermitide 1) , apparently not important enough to adress
I refuse to put a title… and I refuse to deal with penances…
Seeing a title on somebody makes me just laugh …
Where my fellow “Reject,” title enjoyers?
I think people leave for a variety of reasons, not just because of a title. It feels like forum folks have latched on to that explanation and have built it up as a boogeyman.
I think the real reason people leave all the time is that there’s no punishment so why not. If there’s literally any impulse to leave for any reason, nothing’s stopping you. You can just go into another lobby near instantly and not have to deal with XYZ issue.
Complete X missions without dying penances (Auric Titles) happened, but it only counts death if you acually die hence people leave when they get incapped to preserve their streak.
I don’t think so. I had a game yesterday where 4 people left in the span of 15 minutes. The week before this - over the course of about 3 days I had 10 different people leave as soon as they would go down. I have been playing for around 1300 hours and leaving has only become prevalent with the release of these titles. Sure, people would leave before but it was one or two every 5-10 games. Now it is practically every game and its multiple people hopping in, dying, then leaving.
There is also a penance to unlock a Seal that requires no one going down on an Auric Maelstrom.
No way theres that many rage quitters in DT.
It has gotten to be a lot better the last couple of weeks (at least in my server region), but immediately after the penance update playing in the Auric Mission board was actually hellish because of the amount of people rage quitting.
Part of it is probably because people came back to the update who hadn’t played in awhile so they were rusty, but wanted to get the Penances done.
I never ragequit because there is almost a 50% chance that someone dropping from the game will spawn a bot that salvages the situation, whereupon the missing player is quickly replaced by a new one within 60 seconds and the missions continues. The exception to that is when people disconnect because then the game freezes anyone from matchmaking in for several minutes and that can be fatal on auric, and especially in maelstrom.
I don’t think they can really “solve” that problem without punishing people with legitimate internet issues.
The fact that most of the people who auto leave dont have the orange/purple title makes me want to believe theyre just trying to finish the auric/maelstrom penance before the exploit is patched.
It’s the main reason why someone would leave without fully dying.
It is also the most straight forward penance to do with the “biggest reward.”
Why else would a player auto leave just for some random penance.
No way all dem mfs gotta do something mid game.
I played an hour long III VEG yesterday because everyone would join, die immediately then leave.
