Please review my account. I have zero Oranges now, I scrapped all of my perfectly rolled ones. My account is now filled with 100% red items, all of the various cosmetics and frames that are available, and I now have zero room in my inventory.
I can no longer open chests to try to get hats, and I am unwilling to scrap my balanced collection of reds. I do not have more than 4 of any red weapon, and I have around 20 each of charms trinkets and necklaces.
Did you click on the Thread?
Hedge said " The plan isnāt to increase inventory size, but ultimately for us to move hard-baked items (cosmetics/items that cannot be customised) to a different storage solution (which is what we did with illusions already). Itās just taking a bit of time". and this - "We donāt expect everyone to have just 1 of each weapon type, but if they did, theyād have around 7% of their inventory taken at most (in the case where everything but weapons was removed from the inventory storage). In the situation where every item is removed apart from weapons, a player could have 13 of each type before they hit the cap (with every weapon available in the game right now).
This is napkin math though, so approximations "
So it seems like people do care, but since you didnāt read the thread given to you I assume you dont.
Looks like you could ask yourself the same question.
In any case, those numbers you mention in the opening thread donāt really seem right. Did you check your deeds? Those eat storage space as well afaik. Even with a fully decked armory, all of the Okri book cosmetics and some extra stuff from the Emporium, you should still be having a few hundred open slots left. Unless deeds are eating them.
Edit: Just to make the point more clear, I did a quick check and I think that if youād have literally 5 red pieces for every single weapon in the game, (DLC included), that would put you to 375 weapons. Letās just approximate it to 400 to make it completely crazy. With 20 pieces of each jewelry that nets you 460 eaten slots, so you have 540 left available for cosmetics. Iād be surprised if thereās that many of them in the game at the moment. Again, I suggest to check your deeds because it feels like you have a lot of them around.
I do ask myself the same question, thatās why I learn stuff.
Snide remarks like the ones that Rat_Effer makes to people donāt get you very far in life. A simple comment like, āRead the thread that Adelion postedā would have sufficed. Then I would have done just that and said thanks. Instead, he was combative towards me.
Anyway, I want my deeds, I already have the 500 frame. I may play the deeds in the future. Iām hopeful that a fix comes before they release more DLC weapons and cosmetics because at the moment, Iām stuck.
Still Stuck. Fortunately, I can craft weapons to get reds of the new sort. So, there doesnāt actually appear to be a hard cap regarding the items you have in your inventory.
That said, I doubt that I will need 12 more red weapons before they have released all of the content for this game, and that is how much dust remains after building what I wanted to date.
Regardless it might be nice to open the nearly 400 chests Iāve accumulated since this issue showed up.
I think the changes Hedge mentioned (different storage solutions) will come sooner or later. Time is passing and the overall number of items that players can own increases with every DLC and every batch of Emporium/premium cosmetics. Simultaneously, the overall amount of players that approach the current item cap grows. You just have to be playing Vermintide long enough to collect a certain ābase stockā of items.
In fact, last week I asked Fatshark support to delete all deeds from my inventory since I hit the item cap and couldnāt open chests anymore.
The breakdown of the 920+ items I owned:
deeds: 123
portrait frames: 131 (all available ones since launch, including one duplicate)
armor cosmetics: 96 (including all DLC/premium cosmetics, some Emporium cosmetics)
hats: 175 (including all DLC/premium cosmetics, some Emporium cosmetics, and like 10 duplicates)
blueprints: 90 (including all DLC weapons)
red weapons: 181 (I keep one weapon for each red illusion, and only a few spares occasionally)
red items: 125 (I keep 55 charms, 35 necklaces, 35 trinkets; most of them rolled for quick item exchange)
chest slots: 2 (one for commendation chests, one for unopened emperor vaults)
So in short, Iāve gotten close to hit the item cap just by owning more or less the base minimum of every item in the game, which is around ~800? as of now (not counting deeds). Only Fatshark knows how big of an issue this really is considering the entire population of players but itās definitely an issue that gets ever more pressing the more time/items the game sees.
Not saying they shouldnāt increase the inventory space, but shouldnāt you have all the hats by now anyway?
I am pretty sure I have them all without even having one red of each weapon. Granted I donāt play elf or fire witch, but do have hats for them lol.
All Emporium hats? I regularly open chests and do not hoard red items, and recently ran in to a notification that my inventory was full, most likely due to all the cosmetics
No, just the ones from commendation chests, but I am somewhat sure I have them all unlocked.
Emporium ones I buy only on my most played careers. Although I am mostly just hoarding the shillings because thereās not much there imho.
Iām happy that I found threads like these before I started buying cosmetics. Iād love to pump all my shillings into Lohnerās retirement fund but Iām not going to lock me out of having all the weapons in the properties/traits combinations I want.
I really donāt want to reroll items just because I want do try a new build.
