No it’s shows nothing. Most people abandon this game cause of it’s problems - crashes, rng, monetization etc. Achivements shows nothing when online went from 100k to 3,5k in 2 monthes. Cause you don’t know why there is 4,2%. Is it because it’s realy hard, or is it because noone is playing?
And it’s not, you got difficulty levels here. Nerfs is a part of good balancing.
To avoid power creep ?
If you only buff, damnation will be trivialized when (if) crafting gets fixed.
Currently, a big part of the “difficulty” comes from the difficulty in getting weapon’s blessings combos you want.
That’s how you get a community that basically only has solo runs as a challenge (VT) or they will just add a paid new difficulty with larger bullet sponges (booooring and stupid)
nerf only if it’s absolutely necessary or you get aggro fanbase.
The real challenge mode will be when they add a mode where every single enemy is replaced with a pox hound

Only buff is, for sure, the worst idea.
Nerfs only is also a bad idea.
Or, if we go for this, we have to nerf every ranged weapon to the power shredder autopistols and for melee weapons to the heavy sword (good for horde cleaning, but that’s all)

Obviously, flamers and power swords need to be nerfed. For power sword, they could lower the time that the sword stay energized, for flamers, maybe it is the number of burning stack for several enemies (crushers, mauler, bullwark, scabs) that should be limited.
And autoguns ! And hatchet ! And knife ! AND AND AND
Seriously stop killing the game and community you gonna be just few ppls playing alone on it if it s continuing like that, maybe pplz, just ask for 1 more difficulty lvl ?

first of all they should implement the “coming soon” stuff, then they can start to buff/nerf things.
Seriously that’s not. You cannot buff all weapons to make them as powerful as these weapons are.
FS need to buff several weapons like I said above (at least that’s my opinion).
But several people pointed here something true. Power swords and flamers are really too powerfull.
However, buffing or nerfing has not to take always the path of just reducing damages. There are differents ways. Perso I proposed

You cannot nerf all weapons specially if it s special class weapons whe are designed to be OP.
I think it’s better to change power sword combos or attack patterns. Less energize time will make it an annoying activation button spam. Something like: light atacks - horizontal/diagonal, for trash mobs/flak armor clearing, heavy attacks - vertical, for 1 target focus.
and with a scoreboard we could see better what should be rebalanced.
