Please bring back the old crafting system

as we all know we could start with a blue wep/curio get the perk we wanted then upgrade to purple change the next perk to what we wanted but know after the update we cant i spent all weak collecting plasteel on my zealot to get 2 16% toughness with 20% toughness regeneration and one 20% max hp with 20% toughness regen and was going to roll hp on my 2nd roll when upgraded to purple then corruption resistance on my third after finally having enough plasteel to upgrade my curio to purple this morning i cannot change the stupid perk it gave me please bring back the old crafting system as it gave us a build that we specifically wanted

I upgraded 3 top class blue curios in a row that all got 6% experience.
They are just not reactive enough in their organization is all.

on my veteran i was able to get the perk i wanted then upgraded to purple to change the 2nd perk when i found this out i went straight onto my zealot to farm plasteel and do the same with his curious all i wanted was toughness regen extra hp and corruption resistance not for grims just the normal corruption resistance but now all the farming of plasteel i had farmed to just get the toughness regen perk on all 3 was insane enough then when i finally this morning was able to upgrade it to purple it wouldn’t let me change the perk if only during that time i played 24/7 to be able to do it know my zealot has lost faith


yep so stupid please bring back the old crafting system :frowning: might aswell just finish my contracts so stupid. sorry for my outbreak but i loved the old crafting system. this is the curio i did for my veteran now it shows that my max roll damage resistance for gunners which i assumed was anything with a gun is why i went for it has changed now to locked

Oh boy, I don’t think you’ll be happy to hear this, but pretty sure toughness regen speed does actually nothing currently. At best it reduces the time between taking a hit and coherency regen kicking back in (without actually increasing the rate at which you get toughness back) and does nothing else…

I just made a post actually about what a damn mess curio perks are.

i noticed it on my vet i play my vet with the regeneration being more than 8 m away from an enemy and i can tell u it worked on my vet as my toughness was regenerating faster than they could shoot threw it. I have noticed on my zealot it hasn’t affected him as much as i thought it would but havnt tried running the regen within 4 metres of 3 enemy’s

I’m telling you people have tested a bunch and posted to the Discord and it does not do that, but if you can provide a video that shows otherwise that would be interesting…

dnt have anything to record with all i can say is my vet with 50% extra toughness regen and the 8 m away from enemies i can tell u personally that it has worked fine for me as stated i was regening more than the damage they could shoot me on heresy so i dnt know what to tell u im not here to post lies mate as your are insinuating all i can tell is my experience and have stated i havnt noticed anything much on my zealot as haven’t tried the within 4 m of 3 enemies as my zealot is the bleed build

ill have to save up and make a low life new crusher build and will try with the 4m within 3 enimies and see if it works that way as the bleed build relies on the 75% damage reduction

Wasn’t insinuating you’re lying TBC, I’m sure you’re being genuine, it’s just that I trust proper testing over how it feels in level. I hope you’re right and it works, that just goes against pretty much all the reputable info I’ve read is all. Wanted to save you from a potentially dead perk roll.

In Malice and lower Veteran’s 8m feat can by itself regenerate toughness faster than enemy shooters can damage you (unless you’re sprinting).

Especially with the +75% toughness damage reduction in Ult feat

well without being able to roll the new perks on curios or weps as u level them up im back to buying curios and hoping for good rolls which is going to take even longer than the way it was before as will never get max rolls of anything but one thing but i am being genuine without ult on heresy my toughness does regen faster with what they can shoot at me with the 50 percent as 1 curio is 16% toughness with 15% toughness regen 1 curio is 1 to wound with 15% toughness and my hp is in the pic above and after making that hp toughness one and figured that out i went onto zealot to do what i said in main comment and im only saying i know this from experience because before i couldn’t out sustain the gunfire coming in but after the toughness regen it did as for my zealot once i get the crusher build going and test it with the perk within 4 metres of 3 enimies and doesnt work good enough i will end up changing to the toughness regen to toughness reduction and stay with the bleed build
