Yeah I think they should buff heavies (or even buff lights and heavies for BB, caxe was really strong before tho), I’m just saying that afaik the light attack thing was pretty widely assumed to be a bug
The best part is that unlike Antax BB had doo doo maniac damage even before this “fix”. So the net result of a patch promising “Ogryn buffs” was actually a nerf to their most effective loadout.
It’s a little farcical honestly. Most people I’ve seen over in Ogryn chat are like "please fatshark, no more “buffs " thanks”.

However I expected them to fix Rashad axes. It is reported since december 22th… the bug about damages was reported as a bug just one or two week ago. Before that, it was not a bug.
If they don’t want to fix the bug with the Rashad, at least they should remove the weapon entirely and transform all existing rashad axes in antax.
I have 4 Rashad axes perfect… crafted before I discovered this bug.
But, you can get them in Merk’ shop, they just waste one slot, get them in the emperor’s gift (thanks for the poisoning gift).
So if they are too lazy, then they should remove this weapon.
Yeah I agree, I just think that is Fatsharks idea of build variety and what they think they’ve buffed at this point in time.
Since they’ve mentioned there are so many build variations in the game we haven’t noticed or discovered yet.
Well I guess “Power Sword is THE best melee weapon in the game” deniers will have to admit that after axes were “bugfixed” there is no other weapon that can compete

the psyker changes they’ve made lately has actually make psyker into a functioning passive character that doesn’t even have to use BB. He might not be amazing, but you can play psyker and ignore BB now, with soul blaze and non force/staff stuff.
This combo strengthens that build… if slightly… or gives variety maybe.
But the damage increase from having 6 Warp Charges and using Inner Tranq and BB spams, will most likely be a much better choice.
I feel like they want Psyker to be the jack of all crap. Doing everything decently and nothing good.
This promotes a sharpshooter type of playing.
Flame staff promotes zealot playstyle.
trauma staff/voidstrike/palpatine promotes ogryn gameplay.
while getting none of those classes strengths. Maybe that’s why Psyker feels so weak and uninspiring. they’re suppose to be a weak versatile copy of the other classes?
Item acquisition needs much larger tweaks than this. It is still utterly disrespectful to the player’s time.

It would be really nice, and I mean reeeeeaaaaally nice if you could give us these types of dev notes next time you nerf make changes to Psyker.
This update didn’t really do anything to address Psyker’s lack of build diversity, which was the main point of contention players had with the last update. The buff to Warp Unleashed is nice, while the buff to Wrack and Ruin still isn’t enough to make it viable. Perhaps if it could trigger off of any enemy type it would be worth considering.
While I’m happy Ogryn and Zealot got some commentary with their changes, I’m still feeling frustrated that we didn’t get any communication regarding Psyker’s build diversity problems.

Honestly i really expected bit more with these psyker/ogryn buffs and the patch in general. Like you could maybe start fixing blessings related to those 2 instead of buffing arguably the strongest weapon in this game, AGAIN. The priorities really make no sense here.
At least Wrack and ruin got the range increase i hoped for, but it still more than likely will need more stacks applied to be considered worthwhile.

300 is still too low for level 30. RNG grind is still too bad.

Well, even if I believed that any of them play the game even remotely enough to know more good playstyles than the playerbase… Maybe having a system that is 2000% RNG with perk and blessing locks might contribute to people not being all that experimental with builds?
There’s a lot of people that play that way (not me). Seems silly for them to remove play styles in this game, since that would be the biggest pull for replayability.
Why bother posting on the forums at all or constantly saying the game is in a fine state and engage in the same old crafting arguments?
MAYBE it’s because some of us haven’t abandoned hope yet. But maybe we should.
With the RNG I think a lot will remain hidden. And even if they are, difficult to really test or replicate.

but you would think that everything is added to the game with a goal or build in mind… otherwise they are just making random stuff with no connection whatsoever and seeing if anything sticks and players desperately cling to some sort of depth by experimenting… but that seems… insane and chaotic and kind of backwards.

So they know it’s bad. They have taken steps to address that, but they’re all very small steps and still doesn’t address the issues of massive amounts of RNG, the mitigation has their own RNG and you can permanently render an item sub-par because of RNG.
Even with what we have it’s still a lottery.
Yeah, capping the minimum to 300 (300-380) is still a 18 times increase in variablility in base rating compared to Vermintide 2 (power level range 295-300). And that’s then stacking stat distribution on top of that.
It´s just that you go in for more melee or quell more… it´s not like your whole build got scrapped.
Nothing against feedback, criticism, whatever you like or have issues with. But if someone does nothing else but moaning about the whole game, meanwhile saying the same things in pretty much every thread no matter the topic, then it just doesn´t sound healthy to me.
If you play a game just to moan about pretty much every aspect of it, then the game is just not made for you, isn´t it? Dunno why it should change completely aswell, when there are other games offering the stuff you might look for.
I don´t mind what poeple do with their time, but at some point it´s either becoming ridiculous or worrying.
