I’d imagine both M$ and FS wanting this without a special deal taking place since these days its gonna be harder to sell a gamepass game as a standalone product on xbox.
Even if they want this, at the very least Steam players, who also bought the game should have the same treatments, I can accept that Gamepass is a special thing, but Paying Xbox or Steam customers don’t differ, they both paid for the same game at the same cost.
Also honestly I’d rather have Catfish or Aqshy clearing things up, Sorry Septicemia, but you’re a bit too new I think for those subjects

Same thing here. Only held off because of the price hike, but this just cemented it for me.
Also for what its worth not all sets will cost 2900 just the ones they said took more time to get right.
These sets will be marked with the gold skull, so Premium premium cosmetics I guess.
Oh yeah, the premium cosmetics that took so much additional work to have as much clipping as the regular cosmetics, flames not aligned with the candles and no physics on the Veteran jacket
I’ve been here since the launch/beta in October 2022.
I’ve bought some aquillas over the time period and was contemplating picking up the Imperial Edition since it’s on sale.
But having heard the news about how many Aquillas new gamepass players are being given with their purchase, I can say confidently that I won’t be purchasing any more Aquillas or other Fatshark content (this extends to Siennas 4th career BTW) until there is parity between old and new players.
I’ll reiterate what others have said - this feels like a real slap in the face to prior customers that have helped keep the community and the game alive over the past year. I hope Fatshark takes this to heart and gives their previous customers the same perks they’re offering to new players.

I wouldn’t call it a response but poor deflection honestly.
That’d be reasonable if that were the case. Like if they put in the extra work to make sure the gas mask hose, and longer trench coat were included on the Krieger gear, but they didn’t.
There’s still clipping, disabled physics on the shorted trench coat, largely reused assets from the Steel Legion skin. There’s a really good side by side comparison somebody posted to Reddit that shows how similar they are. To me it just seems silly and unreasonable to ask for more when the quality isn’t there let alone any higher. There’s just no way that it isn’t a case of it’s popularity being capitalized on.
I don’t mean to sound like I’m throwing shade at whoever designed the Krieger stuff as they were definitely fighting some kind of limitation either technical, or a managerial. It’s just really bad timing for them to raise the price, while simultaneously flipping off their PC player base.
I mean at the end of the day i’ll deal with it if nothing gets done.
This sorta things is basically industry standard, it sorta sucks that being an early adopter frequently comes with this sort of treatment.

This situation has completely killed my enthusiasm for the game more than any bug/instability issue.
No matter what way you spin it, it FEELS like ingratitude to the early supporters. It’s also a patently stupid idea, on my next Fatshark game I’ll make sure my friends and I don’t bother buying the game early or in it’s beta testing stage because supporting Fatshark early means your a lower tier of customer who get’s about £75 less product than people who buy the game a year later. I mean seriously it’s cheaper to get that whole package than it is to buy Aquillas alone currently.
As much as I’m convinced about good intentions from Catfish here, you and I both know literally nothing will be done about this. Fatshark leadership is unable to EVER even openly acknowledge the most blatant problems with their service, let alone apologize or actually compensate anyone for anything.
Here I was naively thinking FS would actually at least TRY to ride the community good will train for a little bit longer and maybe, I don’t know… release a cool big bundle of weapon skins for new/returning players or something.
Instead we get not-so-very-high-quality looking clipping jacket with re-used pants oh and if you were hoping for a cool helmet, you gotta buy that one separately - sorry veterans. Putting a stupid shovel skin that has been in the game files since release into the bundle would be straight heresy as well, I assume. This is the new norm for 2900 bundles.
And now they top it with this slap in our face. Vote with your wallets folks…
I also like how with the last premium shop rotation all the 2400 bundles are conveniently gone. New players are not supposed to see that we used to get a full outfit and a bunch of weapon skins for 2400 before.

Then please try to get us a fix for the crafting system.
- no diamantine cost for consecration
- buy blessings of choice for diamantine
- upgrade modifiers for diamantine
- remove locks for diamantine
Dont forget the old sets are deliberately mismatched so you “forced to buy” other accessories for maximalized aquila’s spending.

But if you spend only 1200 for the jacket + 900 for a head piece and + 700 for a pants (total 2800) [plus the rotated out black vox caster backpack if you want to hide the ugly red skull located at the jacket back side ] with 3 different purchase, look at dat a decent combo:
Tbf if you farm archievemnt or grind the unfinished game you might fix your premium cosmetic purchase free but not on all classes…

TL’DR: Steam players are triple cucked by the early mismatched sets, by the FOMO shop rotation and now by the huge amount of gamepass deal aqulas… Thats what a year of betatesting whort for fatshark!
What’s even wilder is that they have been all over the forums and reddit saying the comment is taken out of context, going so far as calling it a “misquote”.
The context? That people were really upset about the situation. So… basically the context anyone and everyone would assume it was posted in. The context changes nothing about the quote.
Edit: Admittedly they say they were dealing with super salty and even death threat DMs at the time, which is of course incredibly NOT FINE. I don’t see how that changes the context of what they posted, though. It’s still telling people that being upset about a huge injustice is ‘pearl clutching’.
