OK, taking a deep breath - I understand fixing the systems and making a crafting system that doesn’t suck will take time. Months.
Here are some very easy things (just changing numbers) FatShark can do in the meantime, to make people feel less bad about having to wait:
-Adjust crafting costs dramatically down and/or dramatically increase drop rates in missions
-Adjust the number range in the Armoury to make it only drop 360-380 stuff once you hit level 30 (If possible and very easily done, increase the number of items per hour)
-Adjust Melk rewards at least fourfold, and make the items in Melk store have a range of 370-380
I appreciate the communication but if it’s gonna be another few months before the game is in the state it should have been on release I’d really like the option for a refund.
Show us with action rather than with words that you mean what you say.

People want fixes now, not “over the next few months” as the letter mention. The game’s current situation is bad.
yet no one has even tried to help get the game to work, and i just keep getting told to wait

It’s not entirely the news I hoped for, however I’m happy that things will be addressed, and I’m just happy to have an update and know where we are. Thanks for the update, it’s appreciated, I hope we can have more transparent comms like this.
All the shills in here defending a company that took 100% of the money for 30% of a finished product, and now thank them for acknowledging they’ll get the rest sometime in the future but cant put a date on it.
These small immediate changes are the all I can ask for before the complete crafting/loot loop completion/revamp…And to do these they literally just have to change numbers in their existing code and hell there’s probably not even a need for a client side update for the changes…
Exactly. This should be very quick and easy to do, and it would temporarily at least partially help out while we wait for the new and complete systems.
Too many people bringing an MMO grindset to this game. Leave the grinding and gear chasing to the time-sink MMOs. This game should be about shooting and slashing
I very much appreciate your effort and don’t envy your role given how this is being internally managed. This is not directed at you and I really want this game to better, but I just can’t see it. The fact that it’s taken two months to come to this conclusion after launch and all we have is another promise on top of already missed promises is abysmal.
Any reason to come back and play is drying up fast and those that are still playing are not looking for bug fixes as such. I believe people want some sort of decent progression system and reason to come back. ANY form of crafting system in the interim would have solved a lot of angst and held the player base until meaningful developments could have been made.
I wonder what the point of having a bunch of CMs is if they’re never allowed to say anything outside of vague, non-specific nonsense.
And yet it´s that changes needs time as much as checking out and reacting on given feedback and the survey. No chance they can redesign e.g. crafting within the next 3 days or so.
They do even take a step back and delaying everything else so. Poeple have been “FS bad, FS doesn´t listen, FS doesn´t communicate”. Yet here it is and what´s gonna happen? More complains…
