Look, I use lasgun, with the Shock Trooper perk, and I was using scavenger perk. This has been my goto for a long while, on top of the Extra Ammo perk, this gave me enough ammo to do most of the mission with my gun. Many many times however, i was so inundated with trash all around me (or teammates ran off and died or just fell off a ledge, the usual), so I can’t ranged, just melee and grenade now. This was the norm.
Now I just don’t use scavenger, and die to get ammo back. That way everyone is happy, Fatshark, you, me, everyone! Screw ammo, screw perks! Chaos BABYYYY.
Either cut the leg off and be done with it, or leave us alone. We never asked to have our leg removed in the first place, and half cutting it off is just awkward…
May as well just sit there and imagine playing a mission. Or draw a picture of one.
I’m sorry, is this a team game for enjoyment, or some spiritual journey that must be undertaken according to the ancient code of “but thats not riiiiiiiight, game meant to be played like thiiiiiiis”?
Tough cookie pal, I’ll play how I want.
This boggles my noggin. I’ve NEVER told another class how to play, not once, in the entire time I’ve been in this forum.
(I ridiculed knife vet for looking stupid, but thats visual.
oh and I did complain about shield ogryns blocking doorways. Sorry ogryn friends, I still love you)
I don’t think there are other player types that are asking for design change inside the mission, so yes there are no other that ask something like that.
Well there are some that ask for melee only archetypes, but i’m fairly certain that those are made in gest
It is very simple to understand. This is not any generic fps zombie shooter. Take it or go play something else that suits you. There is actually plenty of them. Back for blood, helldivers 2, Redfall (ololol jk)
No, but the advertising did show multiple trailers where veterans were just going ham with all kinds of ranged weapons on all kinds of enemies. The messaging was clear that ranged primary was a perfectly valid way to play.
They literally are easier. That’s why you have different difficulty levels. Enemies have less health and there are fewer of them on longer timers.
No, but there’s less enemies and they have less health, so you can get away with shooting more.
Many people do want to just rush for and only play the highest difficulty, but isn’t that actually wrong? Like, shouldn’t difficulties be different flavors, not just something you progress through? Not everyone wants the same thing.
And it still is. Nothin ever suggested that you’d be allowed to run with gun 24/7/4/12 with guns, being able to ignore, core mechanics of this game, like pushimg and smashing, and be good with it.
I have no idea what they are. But I will be picking up Rogue Trader once it gets its first major patch to address bugs.
I also have Warhammer 3 coming up soon with its new patch, so that will keep me busy. I took a few months away, happy to do so again when I want to.
Who are you again?
You seem to be erring under the illusion that your opinion matters to me. There are many in this thread whos opinions I genuinely care about, quite a few infact.
The difference is I never told you to do anything. You told me a great deal, which I can now safely disregard as the opinion of someone who has their head up the wrong end.
The OP’s argument convinced me. We should remove the melee weapon from the veteran class and give that career infinite ammo.
On a serious note, veteran remains a strong class which occassionally might have to press 1 on their keyboard. Pressing Q is for advanced players only.
I ain’t asking for generic shooter. Even with the old aura, vet played much more different then “basic shooter”, and I very much liked that. It is not something outrageus that I’m demanding, just returning to status quo that we had for almost entire existance of the game.
No, I’m just asking smith to keep making swords like they always done, not shorten them out of the blue.
I want to have a challenge, while playing ranged weapons, thats why I must play on auric. Suggesting to switch to lower dificulties is just absurde.
