finally got an updated version of my guide done (hate talking to the monitor like a doofus :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:)

in essence this here is my ogryn spec that gets me through havoc as well :+1:

I actually made a build I tested where I focus entirely on the shields light attacks for most engagements (obviously switching to heavies/push bonks against armored targets), and it absolutely crushed everything. The light attacks actually do two horizontals into two diagonals, which is fantastic for horde clear. Itā€™s main ā€˜issueā€™ was always the fact the shield didnā€™t really have a cleave based talent, but with Heavy Hitter giving Savage Sweep levels of cleave, it actually just demolishes everything now.

Wish I saved the recording of it, might do another game or a few if itā€™s asked of me to ā€˜show meā€™, but this is the build in case people wanna try it for themselves:

Went and grabbed a clip, feel it shows it off pretty well. Even got clipped a few times and still took barely any health damage so felt good, my push attacks where being a little annoying and not going off but I got the pushes themselves at least so ā€˜felt niceā€™ holding off the back half of the wave here while the rest of the team stayed in front. (also dang, steam links donā€™t embed, whatever can look at it if one wants XD).

Yeah, I deliberately made it a short clip so Steam could host it, but they only host said small videos for two days. Didnā€™t think anyone would care past that point, but as people seem to/you asked about it I made it an unlisted video.

I edited the original post so that itā€™s there in all itā€™s ā€˜Iā€™m still reminding myself how to use the shield but itā€™s still a good showcaseā€™ glory.

And one of them has a shotgun attached, and the other one a grenade launcher.

Yeah I like the increased impact for light attacks making it safer horde clear than the karsolas pickaxe.
