Just wanted to say; Thanks for putting the sweeping attack for the heavy it feels much better than it was. Still it feels just a bit too slow to manage.
Also can we just please get another variant of the shield with a bladed weapon… or a chain sword… the pool noodle (shock maul) is really awful still. Really would like to have a more visceral experience with the big man.
One of the things that would use tuning is the shooter dmg to ogryn if it would be less it would make him my favorite class again.
BLO keystone and talents for shooting playstyle needs to be better, and not just work for one or two weapons. I just wish that they’d start to rework all the “all or nothing” talents or the ones that are to niche in usage.

Yeah agreed. He is lacking in many aspects; especially in weapon variation.
I think he really suffered from the nerfs while back would really like to see them scaled back just a bit. He should have a bit more staying power to what he is now.
Especially the disablers are annoying, no way to dodge the hound or trappers due to him getting stuck, would appreciate if he could push smaller enemies when he dodges.
made my switch from karsolas to branx the other day after practising the push>light>heavy sweep for horde clear.
now that we have the option to switch between weapon types, having that perfect 80/80…/60 made for an easy choice
while the branx is on the slower side and i can´t play just as aggressive as with the karsolas, the damage makes up for so much more than mobility.
no need to dodge when nothing left to dodge from, sah
trick with the pool noodle is not to use it. or at least not as a dmg-factor swing.
good combo i use is heavy>push>light repeat.
you could opt for the heavy>push>reset, but i found squeezing that final bit of dmg into actually works faster for me in terms of flow and animation.
lets me whack through without getting interrupted just fine and keeps aggro +dmg increase on staggered enemies.(hard knocks)
trapper part while stuck in punies happens, rarely but happens, hound aint a problem just push him with your weapon special or block shove. sometimes i pickaxe him midair, makes for a fun action sequence.
if you´re interested, got a whole channel around ogryn gameplay with loadout and talents.
never had a problem keeping up my toughness through regeneration unless i chose to pick a hopeless encounter, which was purely on my decision making.
