Not even 0.0000000000001 seconds of immunity after a revive

Doesn’t make any sense,

change my mind.

makes sense to me, you should try to clear the area of people trying to stab a guy before helping the guy up.

no need for imunity just don’t be stupid and revive in fire or hoard.
same as Verm just clear trash around fallen and another picks the fallen up.
no probs

Just a few days ago I got revived directly into a Crusher overhead. Died instantly, immediate ragdoll crumple.
It was so funny I wasn’t even mad !

But honestly, people shouldn’t try and revive during a heated fight unless they got no other choice.

Far too many idiots play this game. The amount of times I have pulled agro of a monstrosity, to pull away from the fallen player and instead of picking the fallen guy, the other idiots run around like headless chicken and don’t stop to pick the guy up.

Or the one who has agro runs over to the guy trying pull the other person up…

There are some really special people in this world, really special.

they should add it because it hurts the player being revived more than the player reviving lol

It does make perfect sense. Idiotic teammate = idiotic results. Reviving in general is way too highly prioritized in my mind that it probably causes more wipes than actually safes runs.

that’s a funny opinion, because in my experience most wipes are caused by waiting too long to revive someone and things have gone to crap beyond what they can fix.

I think the game has plenty of good tools to force revives anyway, without even needing teamwork to get it done in many cases.

Wouldn’t complain about like 0.5-1 second invulnerability on getup either but don’t think it’s terribly necessary.

It isnt needed. If you are surrounded by enemies when you are revivied you should just hold block and immediately start dodge dashing away.

I don’t know. Having a half second grace to hit block and dodge doesn’t sound game breaking to me. Particularly on an action made by another player that you can’t control.

Agree. It would be fine and much fairer to the person being revived - whom has no control over the player doing the reviving, idiotic or not.

Too many people in this forum expect “people” to “learn” how to be a 1337 hitman pro gamer haxor. Sometimes the game has to learn rather than the playerbase.

Don’t forget there are many casual console gamers in the cross play.

That’s why you either clear first or hope to god the person who just got downed/died isnt full garbage.

this doesnt help u when sniper prefired u while ur downed lul

I hate getting picked up in fire.

Would hardly be a problem if the latency in this game wasn’t so ass. All player controls are basically delayed by around 0.05 or 0.3 seconds average by latency alone, not accounting framerate or hardware. Meaning you sometimes are literally unable to avoid getting hit. Giving players a 0.2 second invincibility on revive would be a band-aid solution that might introduce other issues, but I’m in favor of it anyways.

at first I didn’t mind but now it falls into the realm of being punished for other people’s stupidity. the only time I touch revive on a player in fire is to keep them from dying, players who either don’t know or don’t care pick you up into instant death unless you run +1 wound (almost worth it these days between teammates and silent assassin elites). or another perfect example I had a sniper gauntlet where I was picking up other players with an ogryn who was actually using the shield properly, the other guy runs over to the last one to pick up and revives him with a giant laser pointing at him to instant death. totally just stupid and not fun at this point.

The only thing I’d change is making players standing up in fire start at zero ticks instead of maximum damage ticks which tends to be lethal in ~1 second. That seems fair to me because the downed player has no control over what their teammates do.

If I am Psyker, the first thing I do is pop a shield if I have one (directly over the top of the fallen), or venting shriek, very nice… Then of course, take +10% or two on the curios.

It’s not hard to clear some space and pick someone up, it’s not brain science, just a bit of common sense.
