When logging in to the game sometimes all characters are gone.
I’ve seen this happen now 4-5 times. This time I took a screenshot of it
This started “happening” only after September and it’s very rare.
First picture is it happening and then after restart how it looks (modded).
This happens both with and without mods as logging in after Hive Scum update when mod loader was not updated it also happened.
Solution is always quitting the game and restarting and you have all characters back.
Backend issue or network?
Seen this on both 5G connection and fiber.
Hi Nimaz, I understand this may be challenging with it being such a rare issue, but if you could reproduce the issue without mods and share the corresponding console log with us it would really help the team look in to this.
Press the Windows key + R
Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
I can try, next time it happens.
There is a big “but” as I basically refuse to play this game without mods due to QoL they give compared to the native UI any logs will be with mods.
(I delayed my purchase of Hive Scum till mods worked, one tends to be picky after spending 3000h+ on something)
I’ll try to remember to do this when/if it happens next time.
