How about new ogryn weapons? Poor big fellas were hanged out to dry for years, in this regard.

Also Zealot still has all of a freaking flamethrower for exclusive ranged. Their last ranged addition was throwing knife…from the talent tree.
But yes Veterans are still waiting for soon to arrive.

The Astra Militarum doesn’t use Shield Weapons to my knowledge. The Navis Imperialis does use Shield Weapons, but none of our Veterans are Navis Imperialis. Therefore, it’d really be up to Inquisitor Grendyl whether or not Veterans are allowed to use Navis Imperialis Weapons.

“lol, you still think inquisitor grendyl is real?” for real though, i get it. i just hope that whatever we get is either a sword/axe+shield or a heavy lance like the one in grave/digger on roblox.
I think you can be a Navy Armsman in the backstory, even if it is not reflected in the voicelines or personality in any way.

I think he means as a whole because ogryn has always had a tiny kit. He also got the most boring weapons from the variant adds imo. I care nothing for the thundershovels or the alternative clubs (I kinda like the punch on Mk2 club but the combos are bad). You couldn’t catch me dead using a stubber. Meanwhile the 2 combat shotguns they added are my most used, combat knife 6 and power sword 6 are the only good versions fight me and the Deimos is perfection. I’m also a big fan of the chain weapons, but you can’t pay me to suffer Mk4 chainsword.

I see , i understand now, but got some spotlight, and when required a rework, got reworked in 2 months, a complete decent one.
While vet, begging them for rework from 2023 September, it got 3 times 1/4 a rework which each introduced nerfs.
I actually prefer Mk III Combat Blade. I’m REALLY not a fan of “Vanguard → Strikedown” for Heavy Attacks. “Strikedown → Strikedown” and “Strikedown → Vanguard” are more my style.
Mk VI Power Sword IS the superior option, but Power Swords just suck in general from a design standpoint. Power Swords aren’t bad in terms of performance but Relic Blades outshine them in both design and fun factor.
I REALLY hope that datamined Power Sword P2 is Veteran’s new Weapon. Ideally, it’ll be a Bastard Relic Blade for Veteran. Less reach and Damage but more Mobility.

New class specific weapon would indeed be nice, but I’d love to see the sapper shovel seeing some love. Foldable ones are good against carapace (very good, may I say) but rest being stagger heavy attacks make horde clearing take unnecessarily long. Plus the animation lock of the foldable attack is something I find quite annoying in general, with all weapons that have it.
I love the poke attack shovel but well, even with uncanny strike and the other one that gives +strength on repeated attacks, it takes waay too long to kill carapace and if you whiff one swing, uncanny strike buff resets. It’s simply unreliable. Good horde and special clearing though.
Idk man, I just want to have shovel as my primary and tried really hard to get it to work but compared to something like shock maul that does both horde clearing and heavy armor bashing really well I just can’t justify it.
imo zealot needs the tree rework a lot more vet should get a few weapons for now
