New Lobby Area such as Public Libarary/Archive and Public Trophy Room

Public Library/Archive:
Its a area within in the mourning star that has rows of books, Datapads, Computers and etc handled by scribes of the inquisition. It functions similiar to Vermintide 1 lorebook and Cutscenes Archive. It explains in-universe lore regarding the Location found within Atoma Prime and the Lore behind the enemies we face such as the Moebian Sixth and Cult of Admonition. We can also inspect and look at 3D models of our enemies and even our allies.

Public Trophy Room:
Showcase our victories such as Plaques and even trophy collections that we as Warband accomplished such as assassinating the Karnak Twins and Public Events like Stolen Rations.

This could a nice way to make the Scriptures and possibly Grimoires a little bit more impactful.

Maybe as we gathered the Scriptures and Grimoires we could unlock access to more rows in the library, just speak to “Record keeper Conan” (Conan the librarian) as you progress. There is often some cool concept art from the game that might not have been used, and it could be a way to slap that in there for the world to see and appreciate.

It could also be a way to unlock some new blessings for weapons, especially Psyker types like staves?

Since there are also status things like “brittleness”, “strenght”, “impact” etc. that you sort of have to experiment or look up outside of the game to know the meaning of, maybe that could be in there too?
A little bit of a lower effort tutorial even? Slap text in a book - give some XP to characters who read it?

Now of course there is the issue of -are we even able to read?- Especially Ogryns. So maybe one would have to draw back a little on one’s immersion for that particular instance.
We do have the excuse of being in the Inquisition so some info could probably be available? Not sure how strict that is lore-wise.

I like the idea of the campaign and events being shown somewhere as well.

*And if you add a Scribe as a player class, well, perfect tie in

We’ve been proposing this for years. Fatshark doesn’t want to put in the effort.

There’s a full bar in some of the story cutscenes. Give us liar’s dice or something.

Give me my personal room i can decorate and upgrade. Housing is grimdark.

The Handbook they added to VT2 is pretty good. Not really that useful for me personally but I’d imagine for newer, less experienced players its pretty good to have. Especially if they’re not on PC.

IMO maybe instead of interacting with a Computer to use the databse, maybe we just talk to scribe? Like ofcourse in-game we use the UI and reading pages but in-universe its just the scribe reading it and exposition dump to players or classes including ogryns nearby.

Ideally it would have voice acting, but you might need a smaller scope initially.

yup, its better off we get bestiary and character pages first. After that slowly add our warband’s lore and maybe the levels too

And we can have the different voices interacting too.

This idea has been pitched and suggested and begged to fatshark since the game release many times in great detail.

Its not going to happen. And if it will, its not going to be because people were asking for it in the forums.
Fatshark has some superiority complex going on and are too proud to take any ideas from the fans.

Thats not true, they have made some things we have asked for:

  • War inspired mission.
  • Exploding ammo for Bolter (is not a grenade launcher… but meh…).
  • In Vermintide 2, versus, they aded MANY ideas from forums.

I think it wold be nice, if it even is something about “community”.

The more grims and scripts players get, the “library” becomes more filled with books.

yeah, I do hope like the more we captured grims is more chances we get super secret lore pages the community can read together

Yeah, because right now, we only get mostly “a bigger percentage of losing the mission”, because of the corruption.

HAHAHA… is true.
