New event has very little HISTG and HI

I waited for so many resets since it released the majority of the event missions are either hounds, power outage,vent purge, pox gas

PLEASE give me a normal high shock mission, those modifiers are not as fun as the main game esp when played this often.

and vent purge/power outage are pretty much the same they shouldnt both exist.

Yeah the hounds are so boring.

I avoid any mission that mentions them now.

Why do FS insist on rotating the worst conditions?

hi intensity i had a few but yes HISTG is sorely missing as an DEFAULT option (hint hint)

through my 10 match to completion run, i had it pop up once i think :rage:

i ended up doing heresy to find something that isnt dogs or lights out.
idk if it was the spawns not working or having 2 competent teammates in a heresy mission
but this isnt even a game

fatshark got all the material it takes for the best game to date but uses such caveman tools to provide, if i had hair i’d pull em.

wheres the sense to upscale kiddy pool but leave the big boys dry ?!?

if anything they should plan on fix the mess that is havoc by giving out actually direct accessible and challenging content, without the golden ticket thats the one trick pony loadout.

you can have “harder” content without forcing everyone under a skirt of the same 2 classes.

add a few more enemy types (and no, not just “moah chunks of ogryn”, but really new melee enemies with another palette/arsenal) that force people to be on their toes in melee while keep the ranged damage fair but threatening.

this way you can really reward "skill"and a brisker pace.

at the very least, get away with the demotion :poop: thats got everyones panties twisting.

I don’t really get why they didn’t just put it on all auric missions. They intentionally left out the non-auric board so that players can play non-brute conscript missions I assume, if they want to. But then they made the brute conscript mod pop up so rarely on the auric board sometimes there are none? How does this make sense?

I don’t hate the event itself because in practice it’s a fun modifier, but everything around it just shows how this was cobbled together in like 20 minutes probably. To begin with, this is just a modified sniper gauntlet: You can even hear the sniper noises when the Ogryns spawn in. Super low effort. I wouldn’t even mind that but as I’ve said before, the worst part is that they’ll remove it again anyways instead of leaving it in together with Moebian 21st and Cranial Parasites and Terror in the Dark etc. They need to stop with this concept, it’s stupid in a game that lacks content.

Hopefully they wisen up at some point, rework the mission board and stop removing content from the game and these things would barely bother anyone

when an “event” is over reward-wise, the individual attributes (moebian/tentacle/ogryn bulks) should enter permanent rotation in auric maelstrom with the addition of choice as to how many simultaneously you want to handle.

that’d be havoc goodness without the crappy “rejected” cause wrong class/loadout/whatever

even the overtuned gunners wouldnt be a problem without the cheap halving of health/toughness.

i think its because fatshark doesnt expect new players to be able to handle ogryns alone. its also why theyre locked behind penances in the meatgrinder. they dont allow new players to even learn how to deal with them alone.

every time I have played it, it was mixed with terrible conditions such as vent purge, snipers, power supply interruption, etc all the terrible conditions everyone hates

Not just auric. They should just enter rotation of all conditions across the entire board.

There needs to be way more variety for conditions and they keep taking all the good ones away and leave the crap there like hounds and snipers.

I mean, does anyone actually enjoy a sniper gauntlet?

I don’t mind dogs or sniper gauntlet in a vacuum. The only real issue is that they’re like one of 4 modifiers total.
If they were to just add all the modifiers they make for events to the auric board, you would have a wider spread, so you’d come across stuff like sniper gauntlet more rarely. Meaning it would be more of a welcome change of pace, rather than “ah not this again”

sure, make them modifiers a thing in all settings, though i might doubt it’ll be much of a difference there given the far lower enemy count.

moebian and tentacles were such a blast for since the longest time the screen was filled again up to the horizon.

I still hate trying to fight with 20 sniper lasers all pointing at me. Just isn’t fun but that’s my preference.

I agree more variety would make the hounds and snipers much less annoying but they’re still the worst of all modifiers imo lol.

i dont hate HATE lights out but i cant really play it more than once a week. the sniper dodging loses its fun factor after 1 game tbh. if anything power outage should be the maelstrom modifier and scab melee should be on the default rotation. scab melee has a lot more replayability imo

I hate pox gas. Wish they never released it. And snipers. The rest is easy peasy you just have to use “skill”.

Playing ogryn and getting 20 snipers and having rumbler, it is doable but just a pain. And pox destroys the pase in the game.

Power/lights I don’t mind, tbh everytime I play it I keep thinking what if they did Some horror mode/game. Also the gunners have less range so it is fairly balanced.

kickback two shots em at a reasonable distance.

only place it didnt work (but even vets didnt hit that far) was the mercantile hl 70 04 bridge leading to the colloseum.

if snipers spawn on the other side while you make it to the airlock, they cant get hit for some reason :man_shrugging:

any other place, works like a charm.

besides nothing more tasty than killing 2 or more with one load :smile:

True and ogryn has more weapons to deal with ranged, but kickback is the most used one.

The new stuber can also shoot really far.

Yeah this mod has too many variations for just one slot (in T4 the oggs die faster than a pack of Damnation ragers and there’s less per wave so its not worth it except for progressing this assignment). I’ve had it bundled with hi shock gauntlet once.

Most of the time I’ve been picking off snipers or stumbling around in the dark. Filling every boss ticket spawn was cool though, honestly at this point in power creep I’d like T5 to have 3 random bosses instead of 2. Some long maps make for a lot of encounters and still have their event bosses appear too. Made me wish we had the other Ogryn boss ready to go, but maybe he’ll be coming this year with the cult moving to the front of the action?

The walking giants experience: realize that extra ogryns is kind of neat and shock trooper gauntlet mixed in is more fun. You are desperate for shock trooper gauntlet, so you check the games lantern site or use the hadron bot for live mission board updates. You’re currently in a game that you probably hate like hunting grounds but with brute conscripts because there is only 1 damnation brute conscripts on the mission board and its usually not the one you want but you’re playing it anyways. Why? Idk, darktide that’s why.

The mission board shows shock trooper brute conscripts is now live with only 15 minutes on the board, the whole team leaves and now it’s just you and the level 40 playstation guy in mode you don’t really want to play. Do you see the issue?

Having shock troop brute conscripts always on the board for this event would make it more enjoyable to play and keep players engaged longer.

I personally don’t mind lights out or pox gas hunting grounds but when there’s only 1 slot and it rarely shock trooper, you’re going to see behavior like quitting mid game when shock trooper goes live.

I think you should just combine shock trooper with the modifiers people don’t like and maybe they will like it better. Combat is kinda the most favorable part to alot of the community and shocktrooper is good so.
