Ok, the loremaster and the swordmaster is the same (except the loremaster master the magic path more than swordmaster). And the loremaster allow to give him only one weapon and keep a second spell like a said ealier or simply different hand of magic in “second weapon”.
Maybe let’s try to be friendlier in here. Discussing new heroes is a fun thing. We don’t really expect it to happen, but speculating and thinking of ideas is enjoyable.
I suggested a Skink character awhile back (even did some art). Eztli, I named him, in case anyone wants to search it. I think a Bretonnian peasant would be the most likely new character, along with a Bretonnia-themed DLC. Why peasant? Well, as a friend convinced me, a noble would just be too limited in careers and weaponry - Bretonnian knights don’t use ranged weapons. And frankly, a Grail Knight is WAY too powerful to fit into the group. They could go toe-to-toe with a Chosen of Chaos.
A peasant would have a lot of options, though. They could be a Battle Pilgrim as a kind of berserker, or a Man-at-Arms for a more defensive career, or an outlaw for a lighter, more range-oriented career. My only problems with the idea, really, is that 1) I think just adding another human to the mix would be rather bland, and 2) all of these careers kinda mirror Kruber’s anyway. A tank, a melee dps, and a ranged DPS who is a woodsman.
I’d love to see something more exotic, like a High Elf, Skink, or Goblin. A Vampire could be interesting, too, especially if they were of the more openly martial bent like the Blood Knights. Hell, I’d be happy even with a Halfling for the lulz.

About the bretonnian, i think about a character with this career :
- Knight of the quest (aggresiv career who seek and take down his ennemy)
- Knight if the lady (defensiv career who protect people)
- Sergent (long bow (yep normaly the empire don’t have it…) and trebuchet (who dream’s about one ultimate with a calling of trebuchet fire ?)).
This keep the problem of similarity with Kruber. Maybe just found skin. The thing is i really want an engineer for the empire that would be so much better ( to my opinion.).
The only way i found to not be a copy paste of Kruber is to develop the game as an MMORPG with more refinement about the spell and talent. But that will need a serious work on it.
For the lizardman it’s an hard question because all other career is about one character. If you do a lizardman i think play a saurus is not an option, and a skink can’t be a saurus (like they are to different species). But if you find a way, i would say :
- Saurus (some butcher come in the place)
- skink (distance strong against not armored guy and monster)
- temple’s guard ?
For the high elve i already told my “choice” :
A man :
- White lion
- Phoenix guard
- shadow of nagarythe
A women :
- Sister of averlorn
- Swordmaster
- Mage
For the darks elves we can do the same :
A men :
- Black guard
- Assassin
- Corsair (with two on hand repeat crossbow !)
A women :
- Fury
- Dark witch
- Sister of slaughter
For kerillian a rework with :
- Waywatcher
- War dancer (insterd of shade)
- Eternal guard (a real tank instead of the handmaiden).
And for the vampire which is possible because during the end times Karl Franz himself declare Sylvania as a new kingdom of the empire. Solding the alliance between the vampire and the empire. And even in other time vampire are not alway the archennemy of the human. (Remember Vlad want a balance kingdom, ok not his son but … don’t care he goes to Nagash). And for those who still follow me ^^ i propose the following :
A man :
- Bloodknight (the bloodbath begins !)
- Ghoul king
- Carstein vampire (both magic and close combat master)
A woman :
- Lahmia witch
- a kind of banshee (really have to found a solution to justify that><)
- And a necromancer who call squeletton in the early fight ( so we don’t see it on the battle field just her wight king and that would explane the tanky career ^^). And i dream to play a Krell like character.
And I think that already a lot ^^.
Maybe a reverse Vermintide we play the chaos part ? (Grimgor come to me ^^).
Better dream ^^ but who knows ^^.

I think it can only be better if it is easier to read. (Just my opinion).
I think about that but it’s not enough to do a all new character. I was more thinking about a new campaign where the heros have to save a rune priest. This new character go with them and get them access to more customization on weapon and maybe armor.
