All those “cheat mod”-topics start to get really boring.

Get a new hobby.
Preferably one, which you don’t share with the rest of mankind.

Are you kidding me!? This is clearly wall h4x.

P.S. tag it on NexusMods as cheat

they really should stop allowing mods in general really. i’ve never seen a middle ground between “useless pendantry” and “just straight cheating”.

whoever made this should look into getting some eyesight correction.

This one should be banned. Its basically ES being on at all times for all classes.

Yeah my exact thoughts. Crazy there are people in this thread already defending this nonsense.

I wouldn’t use it, but if someone uses it I don’t give a damn, i mean does anyone get hurt by this?, other than that, enemies spawn and dispawn all the time, so it’s not that huge of an advantage.

‘its just a visual aid’. yeesh, this looks like the HUD of hacked gameplay minus the aimbotting. why even play at that point.

the random gun minion standing out of sight is their only threat besides when trying to revive or do objectives already. Just obliterated by nerfs.

Who’s defending it? @PSI2007 said that these threads are boring, I memed on it. Everyone else is openly against it.

Edit: Oh never mind, now tool2102 said he didn’t care if someone uses it, but that was after you said it.

Or maybe mod users should stop pushing the limits of how cheap mods can be, especially considering it’s a multiplayer game and not a singleplayer sandbox like Skyrim.

Scopes and flashlights on weapons that don’t have them are kinda unfair on some weapons, but somewhat understandable (especially flashlights on Ogryn). But spidey sense, healtbars and auto-solver for minigames already were borderline cheating, since they negate player’s own game sense and just straight up tell you info hidden from the vanilla game.

The borderline wasn’t needed.

Ok so don’t click on them.

I think this is a good place to discuss if mods are acceptable, so we can continue to have an open modding policy. As a community we can provide feedback and help identify bad actors.

Dismissing criticism of the mod.

Telling OP to get lost for making a thread criticising a mod.

That’s a bit beyond just implicitly defending it to my reading.

Yeah your post is just a meme, in context of what you’re responding to it comes across as echoing dismissal of the raised issue, if you simply meant to meme on the recurrence of these threads fair enough :+1:

Well said, but I don’t fully agree, as that was not how I interpret his message, but it could very well be like you say.

It’s probably because I’m in favor of modding in general, and I see most of the anti-mod threads as the same old rant over and over again. I’m on the side that “it’s better to have and not use, than to not have”.

So if someone wants to use literal wallhack, fine. I personally think it’s a bit much from modding, but I think the effect it will have on gameplay is miniscule. But I can agree that it should probably not be allowed, like with the mod from long ago, the “first attack only”. :face_with_peeking_eye:

Correct response from Space Marine 2 devs:

‘Regardless of difficulty’ is exactly the issue it creates, yeah. Why have difficulties. Why not just put a giant warp to the end and kill all the enemies button in? I mean who is being affected since there aren’t human players on the other side?

WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD HTIS MOD???

I’m kidding, but that’s hardly the case now. I get what you are saying, and there is a balance. Adding stuff like that isn’t possible because Fatshark hasn’t opened up the game for it.

Maybe in Darktide 2 it might be possible. Like the EA Games game generator AI or whatever it’s called. You prompt your DT2 to add that to the game, and voilà!
