Nerf shredder

Remember that zealots have access to a pretty useful grenade.
Unlike most players who either keep forgetting that grenades are a thing, or waste them on hordes, you could keep them for special situations like the one you described.

Reapers that are disabled by your grenade, are not a huge danger.

Yea very true, for me it depends also on what lv15 my Vet is packing, if we got Nade replenishment them shooters are damn well sure gonna get flashbanged in the face. If not, and Im PUG’ing I tend to save them for clutching or something more serious, since my gun choice is really good at dealing with shooters efficiently.

It sounds like you rely on a crutch to deal with a skill issue.

Zealot ults are usually most useful when against shooters.

Zealot grenades are the most useful so usually nobody will take grenade pickups if the zealot needs them.
Even without a veteran in the team i never run out of grenades.

Nobody suggested to use grenades to deal with shooters btw.
The suggestion was to use them against reapers if necessary.

If “only good weapon choice for my class” means it’s a crutch. Do Psykers next. Should I Ruin the rest of my build so I can deal with shooters every 30 seconds?

Lol or you could just shoot them and save your nades / ults for saving people and killing crushers

Whatever you are doing with Autopistol you can do with Braced. I tried Autopistol on Zealot, I’m not impressed.

Also, I find it hilarious that people find it hard to deal with shooters on zealot of all classes. Just go in and chop them up.

Since we are at ammo reserves, can we get exact amount of ammo, so the quantity we have added up to full mags not X + half magazine? At least for weapons with magazine?

Braced Autos are just bad my man. No ammo, the aim goes wandering off to narnia when you shoot, and also not available to Psyker

No, I totally agree Psyker interaction is pretty broken, but that’s a Psyker problem. Probably they should just stop dots interacting with +power on weapons cos even with Force Sword it is pretty ridiculous.

You are acting like this one specific weapon is the only way for zealots and psykers to deal with shooters.
I play both these classes on a pretty high niveau and on both of them, i deal with shooters without expending any ammo.

Or you could just melee them and save your ammo.

You have 3 grenades.
You do not need to use all 3 of them to either stun reapers, or to save someone.

If you have time to shoot them dead with the shredder on your zealot, you definitely have time to get closer and melee them instead.

100% a skill issue in your case.

It works that way for bleeds too, and it also buffs Zelot nade damage… Slaughter also buffs fire dots from flamer

Additionally a vet can increase his nade bleeds (and the nade damage) with + power and the vet ult

It’s not s broken Psyker thing. It’s a basic game mechanic

Yes, and it needs fixing. Balancing weapons around interaction with things like grenades is pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Meanwhile, I’ll have fun with Headtaker+Slaughterer Chaxe skyrocketing my bleed nade damage. At least I can have fun with Chaxe on Vet and not feel like it’s a troll pick.

PS: It goes the other way around too. Dots stack slaughterer, headtaker, and pinning fire. :wink:

Yeah nerf Autopistol, it uses too much ammo, but save all the nades for me so I can deal with shooters :joy:

Again, it seems like your skills are so lacking that you deem my apperach to be impossible for damnation (which it is not).

The only one who suggested to use grenades to deal with shooters, is you.

Even if you use grenades to deal with shooters, veterans usually do not need grenade pickups and neither do ogryn since their grenades have pretty low value.
Just make sure to keep one grenade in case you really have to save someone, or you encounter a bunch of ogryn at once.

Grenade pickups provide the highest value when taken by a zealot.
Ammo pickups provide the highest value when taken by a veteran.

Idk how many times I’ve killed everything on the screen just to see a zelot nade go off and stun nothing, it really is a joke of a class
